We absolutely loved working with Star String Quartet for our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall! From the very beginning, Hector was incredibly kind, responsive, and made the planning process so easy. He helped us choose the perfect music for our ceremony and ensured every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.
On our wedding day, the quartet arrived on time and performed beautifully. The live music added such an elegant and timeless atmosphere to both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and so many of our guests commented on what a special touch it was. Their talent truly elevated the day and made our celebration feel even more memorable.

Star String Quartet played at my wedding on 6/13/2026 and they were amazing. Hektor was communicative, easy to work with, and extremely professional. They played a few songs that I picked and found the arrangements for online, and last minute helped me work it out to do a congregational hymn during the service, coordinating with my officiant and all the guests singing along. Hearing my favorite hymns played in a string arrangement as I was waiting to walk down the aisle couldn't have been more special, and everyone raved about the ceremony music after the fact. Highly recommend.

These guys did such a good job. Our guests had endless great things to say about them. They added so much emotion and class to our ceremony and cocktail hour, I could not recommend them more highly. They also learned a song we wanted the bride to walk down the aisle to and the performance was absolutely beautiful. They elevated the entire wedding. I cant wait to hire them again for something.

Star String Quartet did an absolutely beautiful job at our wedding cocktail hour! Throughout the planning process Hektor was communicative, professional, and friendly. Star String played a perfect mix of classic jazz (Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.) and modern (Taylor Swift, the Ed Sheeran, etc.) You will not regret booking these talented musicians!

We couldn’t have asked for a better string quartet experience! From the start, communication was fast and professional—they responded quickly and were incredibly easy to work with. They were super flexible with our schedule and even learned a new song especially for our event, which meant so much to us. The performance itself was absolutely stunning—the sound quality was rich, emotional, and truly elevated the entire atmosphere. Our guests are still talking about it. Highly, highly recommend!

I cannot put into words how magical Hektor and the Star String Quartet made our wedding ceremony. I was a rather last minute bride and requested two new songs for them to learn only a couple weeks before the wedding, including the main bride/farther walk song. I asked for “The Kiss” from The Last of the Mohicans and Hektor took such great care to make sure it was perfection for the big day at Sheperd’s Hollow. We were in constant communication about the pacing of the song and how to make sure certain music swells hit at the right time during the ceremony. He didn’t just go through the motions, he was invested in making sure it was perfection. Everyone was gushing over how magical and powerful the song was. The Star String Quartet has a nice variety of classical and modern songs in their catalogue so it was super fun picking an eclectic mix for the ceremony. I also had him learn a super funky song called Hong Kong Garden and it turned out super cool! A great segway into our cocktail hour. The Star String Quartet are true professionals and an amazing talent. You will not regret booking them for your wedding day. Feel free to steal “The Kiss” now that it’s in their catalogue and thank me later :)

Hektor Qyteti’s “Star String Quartet” performed at our outdoor garden wedding last fall at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, Michigan. They were absolutely incredible and we are so happy with our decision to hire them! Prior to the wedding, Hektor was extremely responsive, kind, upbeat, and helpful, which was wonderful given that we were planning our entire wedding in only 3 months. He was one of the best vendors we worked with, and he made us feel at ease and confident in our choice to hire his group. He thoroughly explained all of our options regarding song selections and helped make the decision-making process easy. On the day of the wedding, the group arrived on time and set up their chairs and instruments on the side of the garden area so quietly and discreetly that we hadn’t even noticed them! Once they started playing, the atmosphere became elegant and felt almost magical! The quartet’s musical performance was outstanding. We requested a few selections for certain parts of the ceremony but for the most part asked them to perform a variety of pieces, and their musical selections were beautiful and perfect for our wedding day! The quartet additionally performed after the ceremony during the cocktail hour and many guests raved about how delightful their music was; some of our guests even said that the quartet was their favorite part of our entire wedding day! As the bride and groom, however, we were so busy taking photos during the cocktail hour that we didn’t get a chance to just sit down and listen to the quartet, and we really wished we could have! Thankfully their music is captured in our wedding video so we can re-live their performance for many years to come. We highly recommend Hektor Qyteti and his Star String Quartet to anyone and we hope to someday have another special event so we can hire them again!

Hektor and his string quartet were such a core part of my wedding day that my guests and I will truly remember forever! I could not recommend them more. From start to finish, Hektor was communicative, professional, and trusting. Coordinating with him was incredibly easy and smooth, which was such a spot of relief amidst chaotic wedding planning. His quartet delivered the most excellent performances (including of a piece I requested they compose) that helped create the most beautiful ceremony and reception! Star String Quartet did a beautiful job playing at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Their rendition of “Turning Page” enhanced my walk down the aisle with my dad so much - it was truly the most memorable and emotional moment of my life.
