I was determined to be the anti bride for my wedding. I didn't want a dress I would only wear once just because it was pretty. All of that changed when I saw pictures of Stephanie James work. My fate was sealed when I walked through the doors of her adorable store front. I went down to look at a dress I had fallen in love with and walked away with 4 that I wanted. After a few days of thinking I had made up my mind and couldn't have been happier! I got her Dahlia dress with a black tulle underskirt and a black ribbon. It was perfect for my black and white wedding. I also got a beautiful birdcage veil. I got a million complements on the dress and I felt like a million bucks in it. I love the dress so much we have been talking to friends about having a themed party so I can wear it again!
Stephanie James is so sweet and so easy to work with. The dress was made for my body and she made sure it fit like a glove. She took my measurements the first time I went down, I emailed her to let her know which dress I wanted. I went down to make sure the bodice fit and Stephanie made a few minor adjustments. When I came to pick up my dress much to my surprise I had lost almost 10 pounds and the dress was just a little too big but Stephanie didn't have any problem she had it taken care of and ready for me just a few days later. With the handful of trips down to her place most of my family got to meet her and see her beautiful shop. Everyone in my family said the same thing: Don't forget to check out the hat collection in the bathroom it's amazing.
