We are a couple that doesn’t feel they are very photogenic and we were worried about the photos, OMG, I don’t know how she was able to capture such beautiful and poignant photos of us! Erica is amazing, as a photographer and as a person. She made us feel so comfortable and most of the time, we were unaware that photos were even being taken. In addition to being an incredible photographer (an artist, really), Erica brings her contagious enthusiasm and joy that made our evening bubble with excitement and served to remind us to be present and enjoy! SO MANY AMAZING THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ERICA!! First off, her personality is contagious. She is so personable, friendly, kind, caring, I can go on and on. We had Erica shoot our engagement photos and wedding photos and she was so flexible with the timing of our working schedules and since I was traveling between NY and CT weekly. She went above and beyond to get all the perfect shots that we wanted as well as giving us suggestions on where and how to get the best light and angles. Her artistic and photography skills are indescribable. Definitely take a look at her Instagram handle and blogs and that is already enough evidence to showcase her skills. She took the time to go over the scheduling for our photos ahead of time for the day of the wedding and made sure all of our family members and friends were accounted for. Erica really helped relieve the anxiety and stress we had during the day of the wedding and made sure things went smoothly. She also made sure my makeup stayed on point with the humidity and that Andrew was feeling fine and comfortable with the hot weather. Overall, Erica was wonderful and we definitely want to keep her forever as our photographer for any of our future events!!! Highly recommend Erica for any upcoming events for everyone!!!!

We used Stella Blue Photo recently for branding photos for our website! We put Erica to the challenge when we brought our 2 year old with us! As you may know, photographing a 2 year old is not an easy task! Erica was so professional and made my daughter laugh so much that she was able to get some amazing family photos! Erica makes you feel so comfortable and we never felt rushed! We received our beautiful photos just a week later! We can't thank her enough! On the flip side, as wedding vendors ourself, we worked alongside Stella Blue Photography in May of 2019, we watched her photograph and navigate through the couples' portrait photos with ease! Erica is absolutely AMAZING! She photographed our engagement session and will also be photographing our wedding. Erica is an extremely professional, fun, and enthusiastic person. She made having pictures done feel as though we were just walking threw life with her. She never makes anything feel awkward and has been 100% open to any and all ideas we have had as far as pictures we want taken. The day she met our family it didn’t feel like “oh the photographer is here.” It felt like “yay Erica is here!” It’s hugs and smiles all around. She’s fantastic with children and always gets them to laugh and look at the camera! My biggest pet peeve with choosing a photographer was the quality of their pictures, and how they print. I’ve seen several pictures that unfortunately look pixelated which isn’t flattering. This has not happened with Erica’s pictures. Every single picture is shot with care in mind and edited to perfection without making the people in them look fake. The day we went on our engagement shoot with Erica was an all afternoon event. We spent the better half of the afternoon with Erica which felt as if we were spending it with family. I HIGHLY recommend Erica for any and ALL events that you need or want photographed. You definitely won’t be left disappointed. She’s amazing. And I’m so incredibly thankful and lucky to have found her!

Erica is such a warm and wonderful person and a real artist with a really admirable commitment to her craft, from photo to physical print. We suspected we’d want to work with her as soon as we read through her blog and once we spoke to her on the phone, we KNEW! She’s really invested in finding the small, special, unscripted moments in weddings and in capturing the depth of feeling not only between bride and groom but among their family and friends. From the beginning it felt like she took a personal interest in us and our story – and she made us feel so welcome and so well taken care of as we visited her studio to prepare for the wedding. It was easy to get bogged down in the stress of wedding planning, but she was always reminding us of the bigger picture and getting us super excited for our day again. And the photos are absolutely wonderful! They are such a perfect encapsulation of how joyful and magical that day felt, from the quiet moments the two of us shared together to the wild abandon of our guests on the dance floor. It has brought us so much joy to look at these photos together and to share them with our guests. And getting to go back to her studio for the big reveal of all the photos was such a wonderful celebration in itself, from the slide show of highlights she created to the prints we got that day. She was such a star and we cannot recommend her enough!

Erica and her team are the definition of professional photographers! She makes you feel so special and calm and really gets to know who she is photographing so she can make it the most personalized experience. We had interviewed a few photographers but knew we wanted to go with Erica immediately after meeting her for the first time. Erica is a true artist with a camera with her ability to capture every emotion behind the photos. She was willing to trek through the woods with us in December for our engagement shoot, then run around downtown Hartford for our first look, capturing every bit of joy and excitement my husband, family, friends and I had for the day. There were several moments where I would toss out an idea for a photo, and Erica ran with it creating art beyond what I had imagined. She also posted a sneak peak of 11 photos the very next day for us to enjoy. Though we were married last Saturday, we have been looking at these photos the last two days and beaming. I'm so happy we went with Erica to document our treasured memories of this amazing day.
