About

On WeddingWire since 2024

St. Thomas' Parish is a church wedding venue right in the heart of Washington, DC, near Georgetown Waterfront Park, The White House, and other unmissable downtown landmarks. Constructed in 1891, it offers couples a rich insight into the city's heritage. Whether intimate or lavish "I dos," nearlyweds can declare them right here at this historic destination.

Facilities and Capacity

St. Thomas' Parish is a spacious, newly renovated church with ample room for ceremonies of any size or style. All wedding events take place inside the stunning main sanctuary, a high-ceilinged, minimally designed nave with floor-to-ceiling windows and comfy wooden seating for witnesses. At the very top of the room is a deep mahogany altar that officiants can use for the wedding sacraments. For smaller gatherings, look no further than the intimate chapel, a cozy, soft-lit ceremony area with a small tabernacle for vow exchanges and seating for up to 30 guests. There are also plenty of modern communal areas where couples and their loved ones can meet and mingle after the ceremony.

Services Offered

Sweethearts hosting their wedding at St. Thomas' Parish will first meet with rector Reverend Lisa Ahuja to start planning their lifelong union. Tables and chairs will also be provided, and a licensed officiant from the parish will work with nearlyweds on a personalized ceremony. Couples may also request sessions from a certified on-site marriage counselor, who'll carefully guide them into the next chapter of their love story.
