Working with this church was very easy. We were not members but knew the priest and he made our precanta a very enjoyable experience. The wedding planner at the church was very professional, knew exactly what she was doing and we had a very efficient and quick rehersal which was exactly what I wanted. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful.

I was so excited when I found out that Father Whitestone would be the priest who will marry us! He's great! My husband and I aren't very comfortable speaking to priests but Father Whitestone made us feel very comfortable. We had a complete mass but I believe someone else will officiate for service only.
St. Leo's is beautiful! My family goes to church there every Sunday and I knew that's where I wanted to get married!
Father Whitestone walked us through the rehearsal. There's a wedding coordinator usually but she was out of town so Father did it himself. He was very accommodating and explained everything very well. I was a little nervous leaving the rehearsal but everything went well on the day of! It was very comforting to see Father Whitestone in front of us and he eased my nerves.
The mass was great! We hired the organist (Sylvia) as well as a cantor (Leala). I heard Leala's voice at the Saturday evening mass and thought she had a wonderful singing voice! Sylvia seems to have a lot of experience with weddings. She was a bit more opinionated than I would have liked. (That's what the -.5 for Professionalism and Flexibility is for). Although, she was just a minor part of the entire ceremony and everything/everyone else was great!

Fr. Whitestone is a great priest. Like all Catholic ceremony venues, they have a list of guidelines. Lovely marble church. Beautiful, massive crucifix.

The church is beautiful. Sometimes I had trouble communicating with the rectory because they were closed when they were supposed to be open. And just the fact that it's a Catholic church results in there being some inflexibility. But neither of those made a big dent in my desire to get married there. It was one of few requests from my husband. Our wedding day on April 30th, six days after Easter, made it so that I didn't have to do any decorating in the church - it was full of flowers in celebration of Easter and I feel that the beauty of the church really spoke for itself without any decorations.

A Beautiful Church That Needs Better Coordination
The church itself is absolutely beautiful, and the priests are pleasant, kind, and welcoming. Spiritually, it's a wonderful place for a wedding or any significant religious event.
However, the supporting personnel leave much to be desired in terms of reliability and professionalism. While the church has a suggested donation that covers various elements—including music, altar boys, and a church-assigned wedding planner—the execution during my cousin’s wedding was disappointing.
The music team, including the cantor(s), arrived 40 minutes late and did not follow the agreed-upon program, which had been sent and confirmed multiple times via email. One of the two cantors who was supposed to perform simply didn’t show up, with no explanation provided.
Additionally, the church-assigned wedding planner seemed unprepared and disorganized. Despite receiving the wedding program three times, she appeared unfamiliar with the timeline and, shockingly, couldn’t even remember the names of the bride and groom.
Recommendation:
If you're considering getting married at this church, strongly consider hiring your own musicians and an external wedding planner. Make sure your planner coordinates closely with the church’s assigned staff to minimize confusion and ensure a smoother experience. The venue is truly beautiful and the clergy are wonderful—but careful planning is essential to avoid unnecessary stress on your special day.
