Had SLAPS cater our 55th H.S. reunion. Great people to work with--Francine was most helpful---food was perfect (three meats--pulled pork, brisket and turkey) Sides were oh so yummy (baked beans, potato casserole and coleslaw) Server was very helpful and packed up leftovers for afterparty-- no one went home hungry. If you are looking for great KC BBQ this is your deal!!!

SLAPs has quickly became our favorite BBQ place in Kansas City. The food is amazing (hands down, best ribs I have ever tasted) and the prices for catering were beyond reasonable. The guys from SLAPs treated us like family and took great care of us. It was a pretty low-key affair and my husband and I tackled all of the planning ourselves, so a couple of things got overlooked. Like plates for the cake! SLAPs provided all the utensils, linens, and plates for dinner, coordinating with our colors, when they heard we didn't have plates for the cake, Joe ran back to the restaurant (about 10 minutes away) and picked up some smaller plates for us to use! Talk about customer service, these guys are amazing. If BBQ is your thing, you should definitely use these guys for your event. At the very least, go check out some amazing BBQ!
