We booked our wedding block of hotel rooms at this hotel. Originally when we worked with Sheila, we thought we were in good hands. Then once she left I started getting calls from my wedding guests. No less than 10 of my guests had issues booking a room in our block. Some just tried to book the night of the wedding and we're told either there were no more rooms available at the hotel or there were no blocks of rooms with our event name. Others tried to book multiple nights and were told there were no more rooms. We still had some guaranteed to us according to my latest email from the hotel, so I don't understand this at all. It got so bad that some of my relatives had to stay at other nearby hotels because they were told there were no more rooms at our hotel. Also, for those that tried to book at our hotel by staying on hold for an hour, the hotel tried to charge them $70 more than what we had agreed for our wedding block in the contract! Even though they booked before the cutoff date. And last but not least they could not guarantee me the ability to check out 1 hr later just to take pics of the girls getting ready in the hotel room. How can someone planning a wedding prepare for this or have a backup plan? In addition to all these issues, the hotel charged my husband for our wedding night room even though the contract stated that with 20 rooms booked our room would be free. We also had a receipt that stated our room was free! They then tried to argue with us when I called to have the charge reversed saying we didn't have 20 rooms even though their last email said we did! The only good thing about this hotel was that the rooms were clean and nice. The staff was horrible to us and really they proved to be the worst vendors we used for our wedding.
