Southern Photographics is owned and operated by Bill & Norma Hall. Bill & Norma are the photographers, performing the actual photographic processes. Norma also handles all company administrative duties. Between the two of them, this makes for an extremely efficient & professional business enabling them to provide quality and affordably priced portraiture. Bill Hall got his initial formal photographic start in Raleigh, NC as an apprentice with Bernie Batchelor Photographers in 1968. (Bernie Batchelor is a very famous & prestigeous photographer, nationally known) He was his only student and felt very fortunate & priviledged to have had such a great teacher! Bill Hall received a two-year degree there and another four years involved in independent research & study. Thanks to the successful teaching efforts & personally-obtained knowledge & experience, Bill's career in photography began to take shape. Thirty-eight years later, Bill Hall has photographed countless weddings, wedding portraiture, special events, personal portraiture as well as family portraiture. He offers exceptional quality in his work and accepts nothing short of perfection! Bill believes that being a professional photographer is a very rewarding & humbling profession.
