Kristel and her team made our entire wedding experience priceless. We hired Southern Affair to be our day of coordinator plus help with set up. About a month from the actual wedding, the team got to work. Contacting and coordinating all the venders I had lined up. I never had to make another phone call, Southern Affair had everything covered. They set up my entire reception and ceremony decor and it looked breathtaking. Even the little things I forgot, the team had a stash ready to be utilized. I would recommend them to everyone.

If I could put 100 stars for flexibility and professionalism I would. My husband and I got married the weekend Helene decided to wreck through the south. We were unable to get married at our initial venue and Kristel worked with all of our vendors less than 24 hours before our ceremony to pivot the entire wedding day to a completely different venue in a completely different city. She is incredible!

I couldn't say enough about Kristel and her entire team, especially Bethany. We are from MA/RI area and decided to plan a Destination wedding in the Florida Keys. We were stressed at first especially with figuring out how on earth we'd be able to make this happen from thousands of miles away. Kristel and her team went ABOVE and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, that our timeline met our expectations, that any decor we needed or wanted would be present, plan and run through our rehearsal the night before, and helped calm us down the entire planning process. Kristel even officiated our wedding with a beautiful religious ceremony that exceeded our expectations. Right after our first meeting I knew Kristel would be someone I could easily talk to and rely on, so much so that I immediately booked with her before we even hung up the call and it was the best decision I ever made! Our original wedding was planned for Oct 1, 2022 but was interrupted by Hurricane Ian and even when things were chaotic within the state I still heard from Kristel, constantly checking in and making sure all of my vendors were not only ok, but we’re still going to be present. Unfortunately the venue didn’t have power, which we found out the day before the wedding. Kristel called me and we talked, I cried to her because my heart was broken that our plans were not working, but her reassuring voice and empathetic approach made our hard decision to reschedule, easier. She reminded me that we are going to get everything we’ve planned and hoped for, but even more the second time around. I’m so glad I listened! We got married this past weekend and everything absolutely EXCEEDED all expectations. Kristel was meticulous in planning the schedule and making sure we built in some wiggle room which was much appreciated! I never felt rushed, my opinions were always heard with thoughtful responses that followed, and my day was everything she’s ever promised to me and more! Kristel was not only our coordinator, she stepped in as our photographer when our original photographer completely let us down in every single way, but Kristel picked up all the pieces. Bethany and Lily were also brought to our wedding to help with coordinating and I could’ve have asked for nicer women to help us throughout the day! They were extremely attentive, reassuring, sweet, and just an absolute delight to have with us during the day! I even got pictures from Lily the same night that she took behind the scenes for us! I could go on forever talking about how wonderful these ladies are and after all of this I’ve gained some wonderful friends. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK WITH SOUTHERN AFFAIR!! You not only have a guaranteed beautiful event, but you leave with one of the BEST, genuine people in your corner. Thank you Kristel and team for such an amazing wedding, it wouldn’t have been the same without you!
