I had my wedding reception at historic Sotterley Plantation, and it was absolutly perfect. It overlooks the river and the landscape are just beautiful. Not only is the setting perfect to hold a wedding, the people at Sotterley are just as amazing. They were patient and easy to talk to. Absolutly love Sotterley, can't wait to go back just to walk around!

Sotterley Plantation provided the perfect backdrop for my spring wedding. Linda (who is unfortunately no longer with Sotterley) was a pleasure to work with and so very accommodating. The gardens are so beautiful with seasonal blooms I was lucky enough to get away with not purchasing ceremony flowers and the barn lended the best rustic flair to occasion. If any brides are thinking of a shabby or rustic chic "theme" definitely consider Sotterley Plantation to host your upcoming nuptials!
