Our DJs are passionate about what they do, and their experience coupled with an unlimited library of music ensures a superb music set for every event. From the time guests arrive, we will provide music based on your preferences and song requests, and appropriate for your entire guest list to create a fun and inviting atmosphere. Your MC, we will make announcements, bridal party introductions, coordinate between vendors, smoothly incorporate your special dances and presentations into the evening, helping the whole night run smoothy. From your initial consultation, until the last song of your reception, we are here for you when you need us!

Great Photobooth Experience!


We booked SoPrime Entertainment after a recommendation from our wedding planner and they didn’t disappoint! Working to coordinate having a photo booth at our reception was a cinch and it was a great overall add to our event. It’s great that guests can immediately retrieve the photos they take and booth operator even offered to hold onto all the print outs for the bride and groom to retrieve at the end of the night. There is even an option to download all the photos taken that night post the event! Great experience.

Incredible!!

My husband and I hired Chris and Anthony back in 2019 for our Aug 2020 wedding. Due to covid we ended up cancelling our original big wedding, but friend's and family were able to help plan a smaller ceremony and reception held in our backyard. Through the last minute transition, Chris and Anthony were super easy to work with and continued to do everything in their power to make sure their services were still what we'd hoped. The day of our wedding they were more than I could've ever hoped for. I don't think we (or our friends and family) have ever had as much fun as we did thanks to these two. They really made sure everything ran smoothly and according to our schedule and also made sure everyone was having a blast. I cannot thank them enough for making our day so incredible.

Perfect DJ and Photobooth

I have nothing but nice thing to say about SoPrime Entertainment. We worked with Justin, Eric, and Charlie for their DJ services and a photo booth. Everything was absolutely fantastic! They made sure our ceremony ran flawlessly and that we stuck to our timeline throughout the evening. Our dance floor was never empty and they made sure to play all of the songs I marked as must play songs throughout the night! Their photo booth is an open photo booth which was honestly perfect because it allows your to fit more people in for pictures! Their photo booth was lower in price than others, but still included a backdrop, printed pictures, a dedicated attendant, and a digital file of the pictures. We honestly will always recommend SoPrime for your events!

Amazing Team

The SoPrime team was so amazing to work with, and dedicated so much of their time and energy to make sure our wedding day music was perfect. They also did an amazing job taking photos and video to help us capture and remember our wedding day. It was such a pleasure to work with them. For anyone in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, hire them! They truly do it all!

They were seriously the BEST

Chris and Matias were incredible! They DJ'd our 1920's themed wedding at the Blackstone this December. They let us personalize our music so we got exactly what we wanted! The SoPrime website was very helpful and it was great to be able to be so hands on and informed about how the evening would run. They were really organized and clearly experienced. I'm glad that they sold us on the uplighting because it was totally worth it:) They brought such great energy to the evening and kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night. Chris even got on the dance floor to lead one of the group dances! We also loved the photo booth and think that our guests had a blast! They even helped purchase some "Gatsby" props to use.

I wish I could give DJ Chris Socha way more than 5 stars!! We decided to meet with him after having the time of our lives at a friends wedding. He created an out of this world timeline for the ENTIRE evening (type A brides, seriously look no further, he does it all) and helped make sure it was smooth. The dance floor was packed until the very end of the night, with people of all ages. (We saw this at our friends wedding too!) We have gotten many many compliments on the music! Most importantly, we had SO MUCH FUN, and so did all of our guests! DJ Chris is talented, knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going. We are SO Thankful we had you on our day. MANY MANY THANKS!!

WOW! I honestly dont know how we lucked out and found Chris and SoPrime! We met with one of the big box dj's and were completely turned off. We met with Chris and my fiance wanted to book with him right away when we walked out. Chris knows this industry, has a passion, and enjoys getting to know people!! He instantly put us at ease, and made wedding reception planning fun. When we found out we were going to be switching to a bigger ballroom at our venue, Chris came out to see the new space and gave us ideas. The day of, Chris was a the best DJ we could have asked for. We had people out dancing on the dance floor during dinner!!! People continue to tell us this was the best wedding they have been to. Chris is not only professional, he is personable, reliable and just hands down amazing. When we left our wedding, I honestly feel like my now husband and I also made a new friend.

We used SoPrime Entertainment for our DJ services on 8/26/17. We had DJ Chris Socha and he was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond expectations. We met a couple times before the wedding to get our vision in place (which we didn’t really have one the first time we met). He has a google document that keeps track of everything, and he is extremely organized. He made sure we stayed on track with our timeline the day of and made sure we did everything we wanted to. We also had only about 80 people, with wide variety of music interests and ages and he did great at filling in songs that were a good fit for everyone to enjoy. Weddings can be very stressful, but I can honestly say we were 110% satisfied and able to enjoy our day and we had NOTHING to worry about. We had our ceremony outside that SoPrime provided microphones for & then they also did our lighting inside which looked great! We got a photobooth and the photo album which is definitely worth doing! Stephen was our photobooth attendant and he was very helpful and fun to be around which is exactly what you want at your wedding or any other event!

100 times over – we would go with SoPrime Entertainment. With SoPrime Entertainment, you will not be disappointed!!

We planned our wedding long distance and knew we were going with Chris Socha from SoPrime Entertainment after our first video consultation. He understood our wedding vision, was very helpful with the day of timeline and had great attention to detail. Chris is passionate about his work and it absolutely showed leading up to and during our wedding. He worked with our venue to ensure proper set up for our outdoor ceremony and our day of coordinator on the timing of everything. He knew how to read the crowd and our guests didn't leave the dance floor! We couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you, Chris and your team!!!

SoPrime Entertainment was so great to work with and they did a phenomenal job for our wedding! They even created a custom mash-up for our first dance that made for a nice surprise for our guests. The Photo Booth was a huge hit, the uplighting was perfect and the music was awesome. From the moment the dance floor opened to last call, everyone was up and having a great time. A lot of guests complimented the music and the fact that it was "such a great party"! It really was the best day ever and we are so glad SoPrime Entertainment was able to be a part of our day.
