Wish I could give more stars!! My mom and I both got our dresses (MOB gown and wedding gown) fitted at sophisticated fit for my wedding. We absolutely loved making the drive to Delaware whenever we had an appointment. Everyone at the store is so friendly and excellent at what they do. They made our dresses look like they were custom because of how well they fit! Not to mention they were reasonable! And so much fun to talk to-my mom and I wanted to go to our fittings just to chat with everyone! I will definitely be going back to get future dresses fitted and definitely recommend sophisticated fit to anyone looking for a fun experience as well as a good price and expertly fitted dress. I cannot recommend Sophisticated Fit highly enough for wedding dress alterations! When I say my dress did not fit AT ALL when I picked it up from the bridal shop, I am not exaggerating. But Christina is a miracle worker! She altered literally every aspect of my dress… the bodice, the shoulders, the back, the bust, and the hem. In one fitting, my dress went from what I worried would be a disaster to the dress of my dreams! She also did a masterful job at creating a bustle for a rather large tulle dress that stayed put the entire night and looked absolutely stunning! I got endless compliments on my dress and I attribute all of that credit to Sophisticated Fit! They are a talented group and their shop is such a positive environment that makes sure every bride feels beautiful! I will most definitely be returning to Sophisticated Fit for all of my alterations needs in the future!

Pam and her team did an amazing job with my wedding dress alterations! My dress was strapless and they were able to make custom removable off-the-shoulder straps. My dress was hemmed perfectly. It was taken in and at my last fitting it seemed too tight but they were able to quickly fix it before my wedding day. Reasonable prices and quality work!

I got my wedding dress at Claire’s across the street and they recommended Pam McBride from Sophisticated Fit. I read reviews online and everyone raved about Pam. From my first fitting, she was professional and caring and I knew I was in good hands. The dress turned out beautifully and fit me like a glove. The staff there is so nice and they really make you feel special. I highly recommend Pam for wedding dress alterations.

I went to Sophisticated Fit for alterations for my Maid of Honor dress. It was a beautiful dress that I ordered online. I was sure it would be the right size (except for the length) but then couldn't zip it closed. I was so anxious and had no idea what I was going to do. I went to Sophisticated Fit and they were wonderful. Denise discovered that the dress had been sewed incorrectly - the sash around the waist was sewn in about an inch too tightly. She tore it out at the seams and the dress zipped right up! She hemmed the dress perfectly for me and reattached the sash, properly this time. I looked so unbelievable at the wedding and I felt beautiful! Denise did a great job and the alterations were very reasonably priced! Also, importantly, when Denise recommended taking in the back and shoulders of the dress a bit to fit me better, I told Denise I was on a budget and asked her if it was really necessary. She asked if I was wearing my hair up or down and when I said down she told me not to bother with the alterations to back and shoulders. It was so refreshing to have that honesty.

I bought my dress at Claire's and they recommended me to come to Sophisticated Fit for my alterations and I'm so glad I did. The results were perfect and they even worked a miracle on my mom's dress as well! Highly recommend :)

I decided to book with Sophisticated Fit after a recommendation from my Bridal Salon. Pam and her team did an incredible job altering my wedding dress, and I could not have been happier with how it fit on my wedding day! They were so flexible with scheduling, and even did some minor last minute alterations with my dress on at the final fitting. I also used Pam for another gown I wore as a wedding guest, and her work was equally fantastic. I highly recommend!

Had my wedding dress altered here and it was the best decision! The women who work in the shop are friendly, timely and pay close attention to detail! I went with them after have an issue with another vendor and they were able to immediately fit me into their schedule and it was a very good experience! They made it easy and fun! Not to mention did an amazing job on the dress!
