I will admit, I was someone who was a bit skeptical about whether we needed a day of coordinator. Weddings are expensive and we wanted to decrease costs as much as possible. However, hiring Brooke for our day of coordination was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and she was worth every penny (and then some)!! I will also add that she is pretty reasonably priced in this space and she is an absolute expert at what she does.

I am a bit of a control freak and planned every detail of our wedding, so I was a little nervous about handing all of that off to someone else on wedding day, but Brooke and Claire absolutely blew me away. During the planning calls that we had the last few months leading up to the wedding, it was clear Brooke had already thought of everything. Every single question I asked she had an answer for, and we were so impressed with how organized she was down to every little detail we discussed. She coordinated everything with all of our vendors and put together a timeline to make sure all the moving parts were in place. Brooke also came for our final walk through meeting at the reception venue a few days before the wedding, and she had some amazing ideas to help bring together the final details for our wedding day.

We had our ceremony at a church in Fishers and the reception in downtown Indy, so having Brooke and Claire with us all day helped keep everyone and everything organized since reception setup was happening while we were gone at the church. She really understood what I wanted, and everything was beautifully set up exactly as I had envisioned when we walked into the reception space for the first time. Having Brooke with me throughout the whole wedding day made a huge difference and put me more at ease. It also really helped our parents (especially my mom) to relax more and enjoy the day without having to worry about all of the details and logistics.

They took care of every little thing, including tear down at the end of the night so our families didn't have to. Brooke and Claire also picked up our Starbucks coffee order for our early hair and makeup start time on wedding morning, and helped coordinate food and drink deliveries (amongst many, many other things) throughout the day. They checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed and it was so amazing knowing they had everything under control so we could relax and enjoy the day! They are also two of the sweetest people and so great to be around.

I was thrilled with how everything turned out. It was truly the most amazing beautiful day and I have Brooke and Claire to thank for that!! Do yourself a favor and hire Something True Planning for your wedding, you will be so happy you did!!

Brooke and her husband were amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process! They took the time to consider every detail of our day and made us feel so secure throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, they were with us every step of the day. They set everything up beautifully and handled any mishaps that occurred without us even knowing! Our seating chart display ended up not getting delivered by the rental company, but Brooke came up with the perfect solution so we didn’t have to worry about it at all. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brooke (and her team). We found Brooke through one of our other amazing vendors, and it seemed like fate! During our first meeting, Brooke was prepared, professional, down-to-earth, and it felt like talking to a friend. Looking back, it was the start of a friendship!! :)

Brooke is quick to communicate, excellent at decision-making, and keeps a cool, calm, and collected demeanor under pressure. When the weather went sideways on our big day, she made sure everything was taken care of as we moved the ceremony indoors, and I didn't worry about a thing.

My biggest piece of advice to brides is to hire a day-of coordinator at the very least (if your budget allows). Now, my biggest piece of advice is to hire Brooke at your day-of coordinator. She is a true rockstar.
