The ladies at Something New Bridal Boutique were absolutely wonderful. They selected several dresses for our first appointment for my daughter based on her size and taste. The 4th dress was the one, and it was a slam dunk! This was not what my daughter or I would have pulled to try on. But because of their expertise, they make the selection to offer other choices that might be better. Then they recommended the fabulous Thread & Needle Alterations to do the finishing touches, and that was what made the dress an absolutely perfect fit! Also, the veil was drop dead gorgeous and was free because of the referral we received and the amount we spent. The value was outstanding for the quality and service. They even ordered extra lace at no charge, so we could have some added to make the plunge a little more modest. It was beautiful and the perfect dress for her wedding!

This place was amazing! The women who work there are super nice; they were super attentive and tried very hard to make my dress shopping experience a good one. Everyone who joined me had a wonderful time too; the seating area was very nice and elegant and they had hor' de vours out for them to snack on.
The owner was really helpful and worked within my budget and truly tried to pull dresses she thought I would love. They even worked with my schedule which can be pretty hectic. Overall my experience was pretty awesome.

I live in Washington, DC, but when my friend heard I was visiting my mother to shop for wedding dresses, she left me a five-minute voicemail about how I just HAD to come to Something New. Luckily, I had already made an appointment there!
Before my appointment, the owner emailed me and asked for pictures of what I liked and how many would be coming with me, so they could be prepared. When I arrived at the shop they offered a variety of beverages and snacks, asked a few quick questions, and even mentioned that they remembered my friend and asked how her mother's recent surgery had gone. Incredible customer service.
They must've shown me a dozen dresses, of which I tried on about eight. The great thing is that they had no problem strapping me into dresses that they knew we were just trying on for giggles--it was very obvious I was NOT the type to wear a jewel-encrusted strapless ballgown with full hoop skirt, but they seemed to be having just as much fun as I was when I tried on things outside my comfort zone.
Eventually I was choosing between three dresses, but the winner was obvious. It had only been tried on once before, was my size, and I bought it off the rack--which the owner gave me a discount for, even though it is essentially a new dress. The construction of the dress is top-notch, with a corset bodice so good that I'm not going to have to wear a bra. Count that as MORE savings on bridal undergarments!
We didn't commit to the dress immediately, as I wanted to talk it over with my mother, but during lunch we decided that it was definitely the one. I called the shop and asked if we could stop by and take a picture, since I'd be returning to DC that evening and would like a point of reference (and workout motivation) until I see it again. I thought she was just going to let me take a photo of the dress, but when we arrived at the shop she insisted that we put the dress back on (for the third time!) so I could have the full picture. Highly recommended!

We went to many bridal shops before going into Something New and it was by far the greatest experience we had when looking for a wedding dress. The shop is beautiful, but more importantly the staff was amazing. They make every bride feel like a princess and they are very professional. They really want the bride to find the perfect dress! Their dresses are unique and beautiful. Two of my daughters have gotten their dresses here and they received many compliments because the dresses were different than those found at larger stores and they were perfect for each girl. I highly recommend Something New to every bride I meet!!!

My visit to this bridal salon far surpassed my expectations. The salon is gorgeous, and the selection of dresses is amazing. We were treated the best of any bridal salon we visited here. Of all the boutiques I visited during my search, SNB exceeded all expectations! I said yes to Something New! They really made my experience unforgettable, just like you see it in the movies! All the staff made me feel like a queen from the moment I entered the store. If you are looking for a unique and exquisite dress, this is your definitive option. Feeling discouraged and like I was never going to find the right wedding dress I went to Something New Bridal and was amazed. Their service and attention to detail was outstanding. As you try on dresses, you are the only bride in the store so you have their whole attention. You absolutely get that Cinderella feeling. They encourage you to try on different styles, materials, etc.

Once my dress was picked, Dilek and her staff went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% happy with my dress. They allowed me to come in multiple times to try it on over and over again. Each time they treated me with such respect and made me feel so special. They made sure the dress was perfect.

On the day of my wedding Dilek came to the church to put me in my dress to be sure that it was perfect as I walked down the aisle. This shop is so different from the other shops I went to to try to find my dress. A definite MUST visit shop for sure!

From the minute you arrive for your appointment you are treated with a level of customer service and professionalism that is unheard of. I went by myself just to look, tried on a several dresses, fell in love with one, but left because I wasn't ready to commit. I mean who buys the first dress they put on? The ladies completely understood and gave no attempt to pressure me to buy. After going to another boutique I quickly realized there was no question I had already found my dress. I will forever be grateful to these ladies for making this experience a once in a lifetime.

Definitely call ahead to schedule your appointment. My first day wedding dress shopping and I did not expect it to be my only day searching for my perfect dress. I went to another shop prior and felt so defeated. I hated my body in almost every dress I tried. My experience at Something New made me feel more beautiful than I ever have before. I appreciate that they don't let you browse for what you want to try, instead they just pulled based off some preferences you give them. Prices are really reasonable and the quality is worth every penny. Thank you so much for helping me find my dream dress!!!

Best place for your wedding dress! Just save yourself stress and go there first...you will not be disappointed. The shop is beautiful and very intimate! You have your own private appointment and are treated like a princess! The staff have a great eye for what looks good on you. Both of my daughters got their dresses their and tried on no more than 7-8 dresses before saying Yes to the Dress! They listened to preference on style and price...knew exactly what inventory to bring out and in both instances...each dress looked better than the previous...it was hard to tell which dress looked best as they all looked marvelous on them! They are patient, caring, good at guiding nervous brides in helping them find the absolutely perfect dress for their perfect day. They even serve delicious snacks and champagne for you and your wedding party, moms and helpers! Highly recommended...actually at least 7 of their friends also got their dresses there after our recommendation...it is just such a lovely place...and prices are affordable too!
