We saw Something Blue at both The Wedding Cafe Hawaii and at the bridal expos. We were originally only going to buy a wedding cake topper from them, but once we saw their invitation samples, I knew that I wanted to hire them to make our invitations too.

After having our consultation with Carol about our wedding cake topper, we decided to ask her if she had any boarding pass invitation samples, and she did. Since our wedding was travel themed, we figured having boarding pass invitation for our guests would be the perfect fit. Carol showed us examples and we LOVED them, so we decided to set up another meeting to discuss our invitations.

When we arrived at our next meeting, it was with Susan, the other owner of Something Blue. Carol explained to us that Susan is the one who usually creates the boarding pass invitations. During our meeting with Susan, we told her what we wanted, and she was able to create a BEAUTIFUL invitation for us. She also did an amazing job of incorporating our wedding colors into it too! I was so excited about these invitations! She went above and beyond for them!!!

After we picked up our invitations, we mailed them out. Many of our guests returned them with a note saying how they loved our invitations, that they were so creative, and they were unlike anything they’ve ever seen before. We received compliments on them until our wedding day!!!

I would definitely recommend Carol and Susan of Something Blue. Whenever I emailed them (which was A LOT), they were always so nice and fast at responding to my emails. They are super professional, nice, and easy to work with. They make sure their customers get what they want. They are great! I hope to use their services again in the future! We can’t thank them enough for making us such great wedding invitations!!!

I love, love, love, and love them. The invitations they did for me was so beautiful and still get compliments from guests. They were very easy to work with an everythng they recommended I loved. I will save my invitations and from it with the fans they made for me. as well as the stickers and logo they made for my wedding. We worked with Carol from Something Blue. She is so sweet and really quick at getting you your email samples. We were so happy with our invitations. We got so many compliments on how gorgeous they are. We also did our envelope box and table numbers with Carol. We had everything match. They have so many designs to browse through. Their quality of work is awesome!

Our printed materials were high quality and perfectly designed by Something Blue. After spending lots of time trying to create them
myself online, I finally found SB and went to their office on Young Street. There, after describing the kind of wedding we were planning, the woman whipped out three really perfect designs, each of which would have worked perfectly. In conceptualizing the materials, I had an idea of what they would look like, but when they were ready for pick up (early) I was impressed and surprised with the quality. Everything was perfect and lovely, AND well under budget from what others were charging.

Carol at Something Blue creates amazing work. I was originally going to make my invitations since I live in Portland, OR and we were getting married in Hawaii. But as chance would have it, the place in Oregon were I was buying my supplies closed its doors due to a bankruptcy right around the time my husband and I needed to fly down to Hawaii to meet with our vendors. Two of our vendors had an office near Carol and I happened to stumble upon hers as we were leaving. By chance, she was in that day!

We sat down with her, just to see what she offered, not intending on making a decision. But an hour later, my husband and I finalized the look and content of our wedding invitations. She ended up having all the types printed paper I saw at the closed store and she integrated it much better than I could have. Communicating through email, she put together amazing drafts and final copies. When we received the printed invitations, we were so pleased with her work that we had her print all our signs, table cards, name cards, wishing tree cards, fans and now our "Thank You" cards. It was truly a one stop shop! We even received amazing feedback on the invitations she put together.

I can't even begin to express how awesome Something Blue is. It's a team of two women but our experience was with Susan.

I started working with Susan about a year ago for our wedding invitations. I must have changed the design, seriously, like 20 times. And I'm not talking minor font changes, I'm talking about major changes where we had to start from scratch. Susan never once showed that she was frustrated or annoyed even though she probably wanted to kill me. I would have wanted to kill me! =) She stayed cool and professional throughout all 20 changes. I'm not a crafty kind of girl so I relied heavily on Susan to pick the font, format, and to visualize the tiny details. She did great and my invites came out beautifully. Even though I gave her free rein to do whatever she thought would be nice, she always checked with me to make sure I would like what she was visualizing.

Like the other reviewers have said, we received so many compliments on our invites. I was beginning to think we had the best invites ever designed! Ha! Obviously, Susan does such a good job that anytime a Something Blue invite is seen, it's the best or prettiest ever.

I liked our invites so much that I had her make stickers for our candy buffet boxes, table tents, candy bar accents, menu cards, and candy bar sign.

Susan is SUPER detail oriented, quick to respond, and will offer help and advice if asked. Compared to other local wedding card vendors, Something Blue had the best prices. I LOVE this company and will definitely be recommending them for years to come.

Susan at Something Blue was wonderful to work with. There were very few vendors that did not give me a headache while wedding planning and she was one of them. She did a great job of staying within our budget and creating beautiful paper goods. We used the company for STDs, invites, menus, place cards, and programs. Everything turned out beautifully and on time.

Somethingn Blue created the perfect wedding invitations for my wedding. Their variety of color samples made it very easy to put things together. They also providede us with the cake topper for our cake that was custom made with our monogram. Highly reccommend them to friends.
