Jonathan and Megan were incredible for our fall wedding. Everything was perfect and beautiful (except nobody saved me a grilled cheese and tomato soup shooter 😂😭, after hearing all about how good it was I was jealous). The food speaks for itself…amazing! We have guests still talking about how great the food was a month and a half later. But the service Jonathan and Megan offer is unmatched. They know what they’re doing and do it impeccably! I couldn’t thank them more!

Jonathan was such a joy to work with, at every stage of planning and throughout our wedding weekend! He catered our Rehearsal dinner, Wedding cocktail hour & dinner, and a brunch the morning after the wedding. Guests were raving about the food all weekend - how delicious it was, and how beautifully it was presented. We couldn't have been happier!! I would highly recommend Solitude Catering!

We had the most delicious food for our wedding. Jonathan and Megan were great to liase with when creating the menu and hit it out of the park. They are great at attending to the smallest details and ensuring it integrates with the entire experience of creating a great wedding!

These guys are amazing. We had a large (250) summer wedding at our isolated ADK camp... everything had to be brought in. Jonathan and crew knew exactly how to pull it off seamlessly. They like using local resources for their amazing authentic farm to table menus. They also great respect for those with certain food preferences and/or sensitivities.
Working with Solitude was like dealing with good friends.... very easygoing, yet very professional.
Our NYC guests are still raving about the food served at our daughter’s wedding... BTW , Jonathan does amazing fried chicken.. just saying....

We booked Solitude approximately 2 years before the wedding after meeting with them at a Dunkin Donuts in Ticonderoga [lets be clear here - It felt weird at first until after the meeting when I realized they weren't from the area, were going on a family vacation and just happened to agree to meet with us near our wedding venue].

Some positive notes:
- Over the 2 years I must have e-mailed Jonathan dozens of times to ask questions and make changes and he never had a problem doing it, even during wedding season when I'm sure he was crazy busy with more pressing clients.
- We had a family guest at our wedding so picky that in the past he had ventured out to a nearby McDonalds to get food instead of eating catered food. . .Even he was happy and ate!
- No less than a dozen people came up to us during the wedding to let us know this was the best wedding food they've ever had. One family member came up to mention it so often that it became a running joke for the rest of the night.
- Meghan [who makes incredible pies, because we did not want a wedding cake] made sure we ate dinner and that was super important. We've heard so many horror stories of people not eating at their wedding but she made sure we had the time to sit down and eat which was super cool.

Basically, the only real disappointed is that it's all over and I have no legitimate reason to book them again.

We knew from the tasting that Jonathan and Meghan were who we wanted to cater our wedding. Their food and service were incredible! We had a few changes to the menu and Jonathan was more than accommodating. We would suggest them to cater anyones wedding in the area! :)

Jonathan and the team make INCREDIBLE food. The best part of wedding planning was having a tasting with Solitude Catering - choosing them to cater my wedding was the easiest decision I made! My guests couldn't express how much they enjoyed the food at cocktail hour, the dinner, AND the wedding pies! The pies were such a great twist on traditional wedding desert - we loved it!

Jonathan was amazing to work with and the bar was set high after our tasting and he and his team exceeded it for our big day! He was creative with our menu and was able to incorporate our favorite late night food (fried chicken and biscuits to die for!) I would highly recommend Solitude Catering for your wedding or any other event you host!

If we could give all of the stars in the universe to Jonathan and his team, we would. The food and the service exceeded our, very high, expectations! Jonathan was able to come up with a menu that was creative, delicious and fit with the entire day perfectly! Our bellies and our hearts were so very happy with the whole experience.
