The Barefoot Gourmet is a caterer specializing in multi-cultural wedding day cuisine in East Thetford, Vermont. Owner and lead chef Barry Clarke got his start in cooking at a young age while living in Mbeya, Tanzania. Spending most of his life in the subtropical region of South Africa, Barry grew his knowledge and love for a variety of the surrounding local cuisines, including fresh seafood from the Ballito Bay and local foods with Indian influenced flavorings. He has developed a deep knowledge for a multitude of cooking styles throughout his lifetime. Because Barry loves food and the idea of two couples coming together, there’s nothing he loves more than catering weddings with a variety of international cuisine. No matter what style or dishes you hope to serve your guests, The Barefoot Gourmet is prepared to serve the very best.
