When we were planning our wedding, one of the main things we wanted to prioritize was videography. We did a lot of research on different vendors in the NJ/PA/NY area, and after meeting with Tom, we instantly vibed with his storytelling approach. Through our Adventure Shoot, Rehearsal Dinner, and Wedding Day, Tom captured who we are as a couple in an incredibly authentic way. Tom does an impeccable job of making you feel comfortable while still ensuring to capture the most important moments. His team does the opposite of interfere, and is extremely professional and focused the whole time. Would highly, highly, recommend!

To begin, if you’re on the fence about getting a videographer for your wedding, I hope this review convinces you to do it. While your photos will also capture your special moments, without video you’ll have to rely on your memory to recall the details you won’t find in photos - the voices of your friends and family, the words you spoke that day, the replay of your first kiss, maid of honor speech, or father-daughter dance. The value of a video only grows over time, as your memory will fade but the video will always be able to bring you right back, as ours did when we watched it for the first time this week. It is something you can share with future children and grandchildren, and a way to preserve the best day of your life with all of your loved ones.

Now, onto Solidity Films and its owner/videographer Tom Harmon. When my wife and I met him in his studio in Philly, we knew within the first few minutes that he was our guy. The quality of his videos speaks for itself - if you haven’t watched the ones on his website yet, do that now. You know Tom is a great filmmaker when the video of a complete stranger’s wedding can bring you to tears. But what really sold us on Tom was his personality. He has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about getting to know his couples and their families and friends. In fact, he won’t take on clients that just want a transactional relationship. Tom’s videos are all authentic portrayals of the couple’s love story, and in order to tell your story accurately, he needs to get to know you as people. What I love about Tom is that it never felt like business, it felt like friendship. When the wedding rolled around and Tom showed up at our rehearsal dinner, it felt like he was one of our guests and just happened to be holding a camera. On the day of the wedding, Tom’s calming, gentle presence helped keep any stress at bay and he kept reminding me to live in the moment. The value he added to our wedding was not limited to the moments he captured on film and the beautiful video he created, and we greatly miss working with him now that our wedding is over.
