Elena and the team at Sokayri Atelier tailored my wedding dress to absolute perfection! They did an incredible job fitting my gown exactly how I imagined it. They made beautiful adjustments to my overskirt, added a stunning French bustle, created removable straps for comfort, and made the dress fit like a glove.

The team was so patient and meticulous, working with me until every last detail was flawless. My dress looked even more breathtaking after their expert tailoring - it truly completed the look and made all the difference.

Elena and her team at Sokayri did an amazing job altering my wedding dress, which I purchased from Anthropologie. I didn’t need the dress taken in or out, but I requested some more complex & labor-intensive alterations. For my dress, she shortened it & made it floor length so it wouldn’t drag as we were getting married at an intimate ceremony in the park. The shortening process involved separating the dress into two pieces. I also wanted to add something in the bust area to make it less busty, and she came up with an excellent solution.

Elena is extremely classy, and you can tell she cares deeply about her work. She spent an hour with me in the first meeting to pin the dress and go over everything in detail, and at the end, she gave me a thorough estimate and went over the pricing. About a month later, she was done, and I came back & she spent another hour with me to go over everything and make sure I was 100% satisfied.

As a side note, the space for the boutique is so cute, well-decorated, and tastefully done.

I would highly recommend Elena & her team to any bride looking for alterations. In other reviews, I have noticed people have commented about the pricing. I have no regrets on what I paid & working with Elena. She clearly prides herself in her work. Also, as I detailed above, I requested some complex changes to the dress, and those changes take a lot of time. Honestly, assuming it took someone 15 - 30 hours to do the changes, my total roughly translated to about $50/hr - $100/hr. Alterations are a skilled job, and they should be paid for their time. I think it’s reasonable to charge that for the work being done. Keep that in mind when you go into the process.

Elena and the team at Sokayri were wonderful to work with and I couldn’t recommend them enough. My mom and I went to Sokayri for alterations for my bridal gown and my mom’s mother of the bride dress. From the very start, Elena was warm and welcoming. Throughout the entire process she was supportive, patient, and helpful. Sokayri made what could be a normally stressful process seamless and fun for my mom and me. Elena and her team were flexible with timing of appointments with my busy work schedule and even helped to make sure I got in when needed when my mom was visiting from out of town. They did amazing work and made my mom and me feel beautiful on the big day. They made the dresses fit comfortably and perfectly. We are so grateful to have found Sokayri and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Elena and her team are amazing. My dress was altered to perfection. I felt amazing in my dress and was so happy with the results. Elena is also so sweet - she called me as soon as she saw pictures of my wedding to check in. I just dropped my dress off for cleaning and preservation as well. I had the pleasure of working with Sokayri Atelier for my bridal alterations, and they couldn’t have done a better job. I wore a silk slip-style gown, and Danilo provided expert opinion on how to handle the fabric (including letting me know risks of certain alterations, which I appreciated so much) and added the most gorgeous subtle and sleek French bustle. Beyond that, the weather on my wedding day caused a lot of water and mud damage on the bottom of my dress and shoes (see pics), and Sokayri was able to get the dress and shoes almost like new again! It was really an incredible job done. I trust Elena and Danilo with any alterations, tailoring, or cleaning I could ever need - they are artists and incredibly skilled. Highly recommend!

I brought a 170 year old family heirloom veil to Elena to be cleaned, restored and updated. I brought it to Elena very yellowed and out of date. Elena was able to get it cleaned and restore it to a beautiful shade of white. She was also able to remove a crown that the lace had been on and place it on a comb for a more contemporary look. The veil is just magnificent. In addition to that, Elena was a joy to work with. She was warm, responsive and so excited to work on this for me. When I wasn't able to visit the studio, she facetimed with me to go over some details. If you need a veil or gown restored, cleaned or updated, I would highly recommend Elena!

Elena at Sokayri saved my wedding. I went to a different place to alter my wedding dress and they did a horrible job. It was 3 weeks before my wedding and I was, of course, freaking out.
