I attended an event at Soda Creek Ranch. This place is a stunning venue with great views. Beautifully built and unique. The owners are respectful, knowledgeable and very helpful. I was impressed with the way the whole venue is set up, each building is handcrafted and designed to accommodate large groups. Such a beautiful place to hold any type of event

Great rustic place to hold your wedding ceremony and reception. I love all the additional amenities that are included! Cabins to get ready in, games, beautiful loft, and more! Amber is great to work with, very accommodating and friendly.

We got married here and it was SO beautiful inside and outside. The barn was set up for us and had so many nice areas to take pictures, we loved the woodsy look to everything. There was a small concrete patio for dancing with lights around it, and also plenty of space in the barn. The dressing rooms were very cozy and clean with great lighting to get ready in! We stayed the night and the room we were in was so neat and comfortable. My wedding was better than we imagined and so beautiful. We toured this place before it was fully built, and the owners definitely didn’t cut any corners. You can tell they put their all into this, and it wasn’t just “easy” work. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue! Well worth the money!

I can't say enough positives about Soda Creek Ranch. They helped me have my dream wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect, close to town but far enough for the country style wedding.

This venue has it all honestly, great people, great views, great accommodations, and we even had them cater it and the food was amazing! We only had a short time to plan the wedding and they worked with us on our date and our arrangements without fail. They were easy to contact and always replied quickly. I cannot recommend Soda Creek Ranch enough.

Although the grounds are beautiful, I feel it is a bit pricey for what you actually get.
There is no proper air conditioning for a summer wedding. All of the guests at our wedding were so overheated most had to leave early. Spring or fall would be ideal. When using this venue, I would recommend hiring a wedding coordinator/planner or paying extra for the setup/teardown to be done by the staff.

My fiancé and I live out of state but our family still resides in CO. We had family look at the venue for us in early 2022 and book immediately as it was perfect for our needs, within our budget, had several amenities, and all around looked too good to be true. In early fall we set up an appointment to see the venue in person for the first time while home visiting. When we arrived, everything was torn apart and the owners told us they had heard 2 weeks prior that they had a small licensing problem that they needed to get resolved and that everything should be okay by our date (a month away). We agreed to give them a little over a week for an update before we started looking for another venue, when we heard from Amber we had a feeling that something was off so we started digging.
Not only has this venue been in violation since November of 2021 (before we booked), but has been cited on several occasions and NONE of that was ever communicated with us. This venue was also cited for more violations June 2022, again never communicated, we set up an appointment to see the venue in September.
We were told by Amber that all the paperwork had been filed and they were just waiting for it to be reviewed. When we started calling around, we discovered that the paperwork had not even been filed and there was no chance of any event being able to take place at that location until mid-March 2023 minimum if they were to file the proper applications that day.

Regardless of everything, this all should have been communicated to us prior to arriving a month before our event date. Left scrambling at the last moment, we were lucky to find somewhere that could accommodate us. There is an event booked just days after ours and I truly believe that those people have not been notified of the circumstances.
A local baker has also informed us of cancellations in cakes meant for that venue due to the same situation but the couple didn’t find out until DAYS before.

Don’t waste your time. While the venue is beautiful and they didn’t cut corners building it (or it would appear so), they definitely cut them everywhere else and I wouldn’t recommend working with this family. Everything that was communicated to us after discovering everything torn up was a lie.

They did refund our total amount, however the additional costs of finding a venue last minute, reprinting invitations, new decorations, etc. was not covered and was entirely out of pocket after setting a strict budget for our event. Not sure if they would have had we not done our homework and showed proof that we were aware of exactly what is going on.

Do not trust them! They aren't upfront about anything and claim the lack of running water and electricity are "new" issues that just came up. After speaking with the county, this is 100% a lie! They are not permitted to legally host events and have failed to make the necessary changes to attempt to pass inspection. We found out just a few weeks before the wedding (summer of 2023) that there wouldn't be running water, bathrooms, or electricity. Although Amber promised these items would be fixed prior to the wedding. MORE LIES! It was a hot day and the window A/C's run off generators did nothing to keep the bride and groom's quarters cool. It was so hot the bride actually got sick/ heat stroke symptoms and we had to cut pictures short as there was nowhere to cool down. Many guests left early due to 2 porta potties that were brought in not being accessible, extremely hot, and absolutely disgusting. We were promised porta trailer bathrooms when we found out the actual restrooms weren't going to be functioning. That also didn't happen. Save your money and don't fall for this disaster! It's truly unfortunate because if they ran the place properly, it could be a very nice venue.

Save yourself the problems and don't waist time here. After touring the venue and being promised everything, we booked and paid our money. After that, we got the runaround, no communication, and nothing we were promised happened. NO RUNNING WATER!! 2 PORTAPOTTIES for 250 guests, not ADA friendly at all, small generators to maybe provide power for a few things. All these things we were told were new problems and that were working on them and "everything will be done and perfect for your wedding day". NOT EVEN CLOSE. We had guests leave early because they needed to use the bathroom and couldn't. The caterer had to make due with nothing he was promised as well. I called the County, and The County has known about these problems for two years. When I called the county and asked them about the venue, the first thing they did was apologize and tell me that they have been trying to deal with them for two years and they "just keep having events, even though they are not up to code"
My advice to anyone who is interested is to do your homework. We thought we did ours and we trusted everyone here and got screwed. Don't waste your time with Soda Creek Ranch!!

Canceled two weeks before my sisters wedding due to breach of contract. NOT operational AT ALL!!! Bathrooms?? Try trailer potty!!! Bride stepping in urine while in wedding dress!!!??? I THINK NOT!!!!!!f DO NOT book until PUEBLO Regional has given the ok!!!!!! No running water NO electricity!!! Pond has algae, NO ability to stay at facility as promised!!!! Promise after promise that it would be up and running before wedding! DID not happen and full refund! Two weeks before the wedding!!! NO bride or groom should have to deal with this!!!!
