From the onset my wife and I had been concerned as our wedding would encompass 200 people and the majority of venue options forced us into their preset venue options. We were fortunate that our venue allowed us to pick our own and we happened upon Smokin Steve's.

Our venue was outdoors and we wanted it to feel like a family get together. Smokin Steve not only provided an on-site bbq service that amazed everyone, but they also went above and beyond for our cocktail hour. Not a single person went without something to eat the entire wedding, their staff made sure everyone was well fed and when it came time for dinner, it was stellar. By far the one compliment we kept getting was the food, the day after we had so many people asking if we had left overs.

Overall from the initial tasting, to the day of, Steve's staff was on top of things. If we had any questions or comments, they were quick to respond and also helped us set up our bartending to boot. Could not recommend them enough, the planning for the day was stressful, but the catering was never part of that stress!

We had a very short timeline to plan our backyard wedding and it was Thanksgiving Day weekend! Terri was fabulous to work with. She came to our home and walked the property. Posed questions I hadn’t thought about and really let us on track. Everyone LOVED the food and the servers were very much behind the scenes making sure everything flowed and went well.

I can’t recommend Smoking Steve’s enough! We had a truly exceptional experience and it made our day so special to not have to worry about the seeing and food!

We used Smoking Steve’s Catering for my daughter’s bridal shower lunch, and it was perfect. Everyone loved the food! Having it delivered made everything so easy—I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I kept thinking there must be something more I should be doing, but instead I was able to relax, enjoy the shower, and spend time with our guests!

We called Smokin' Steve's after a party catering company recommended them and because Wood Ranch was not being very responsive. Left a message on a Saturday, and Steve called us right back. He was very accommodating for our wedding reception at Paramount Ranch, reasonably priced, and the bbq and service was excellent! I grew up deep in the heart of Texas, and Smokin Steve's does one of the best briskets I've ever had.

Smokin' Steve's did a stellar job catering our rehearsal dinner for 110 people at Paramount Ranch. The food and service was excellent, and Steve was great to work with and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and I'm craving the food just thinking about it.

Smokin' Steve's was the perfect choice for our rustic country theme wedding. Steve helped us pick the perfect menu for our guests and the food was outstanding! Our guests are still commenting on how good it was. Steve and his crew showed up on time and set up everything, we didn't have to worry about anything. We had them cater appetizers, a drink station and the main meal. Once they were done, they cleaned up and packed all the left overs for us. We didn't even realize they had left! I would definitely recommend Steve and his crew for any event! Thank you Smokin' Steve's for making our wedding day a huge success!

Steve's was wonderful, their food is delicious (brisket especially), and were very easy to work with at our wedding. Steve had several call with us so that we would be able to work out a menu we liked and that worked with our budget. Awesome barbeque from a small, family-owned business.

Luckily my mother-in-law did most of the negotiating and was in contact for the majority of the planning. Steve's did deliver at the end of the day though. They blew us away at the food tasting and that's when we knew it was Steve's for sure. Susan and Steve were very busy during planning but managed to get every question answered and responded to ever email. We went with the whole Shabang! Live bbq and all. I was a bit worried it would be too smokey but everything worked out perfectly! Wish I would have taken photos of the set up!

Smokin Steve's was the most budget friendly option out of caterers we looked into for our wedding at Camarillo Ranch (they require use of exclusive vendors from a list). They were responsive and helpful as I changed my quote several times based on costs, numbers, adding/removing items and the food was great! My husband was pleasantly surprised by the food and guests seemed to be pretty happy with it. The Live BBQ was memorable and made a great backyard feel for our wedding.
