Smokin' Daves BBQ was an amazingly affordable option for the food for our wedding, as well as absolutely delicious! After entering my catering quote I heard back from Dave within the next couple of days, and he was very flexible and accommodating with any changes or needs I had regarding the quote I received. I would recommend bringing the invoice with you to pick it up to make sure you remember everything your order should include - and do ask to make sure there's BBQ sauce. I order food for over 100 people and the cost was barely over $1,000. More than worth it of you're looking for a lot of good food.

It took a little bit longer to get the first response than I would have liked (considering I was planning a wedding in 8 weeks) but once I was finally in communication, all went well. Turns out the problem was that only Dave can talk about catering issues - nobody else at either one of the restaurants.

Food was great and all the essentials were supplied - I would highly recommend!

We only had 10 people for our whole destination wedding reception. We went to urban spoon to find the best food in town. Number one was Smokin' Daves BBQ. We were a bit skeptical because we live in TX and BBQ is like a religion down here. Let me say they have the best BBQ hands down! Everyone in the party agreed! The food was delicious and the staff was great! We would so go back to Colorado for their food alone again!

Only the best BBQ in the Rocky Mountains! And two locations to serve! We had so much fun and the whole family enjoyed the BBQ at Smokin' Dave's. We wanted a more relaxed atmosphere for our reception and this was the place. They let us bring in our wedding cake, providing clean plates and forks for us when we requested. These guys rock your socks with BBQ - especially the Kobe ribs. My new husband says they are to die for!

Good food, we used this for our rehearsal dinner. Didn't get any bbq sauce, but it was still good enough without. I did have to transfer this order from longmont which initially was somewhat of a hassle but sorted with in a few days. Lyons doesn't carry Mac and cheese but we survived. Overall decent service

Cons: where do I start? We had them cater our rehearsal dinner in Rocky Mountain National Park. They didn't provide enough plates, so we were re-purposing plates from guests that had already eaten! They also didn't provide serveware, so our guests were scooping cobbler with plastic cups! We ordered food for 75 people and only had 60 people at the dinner - we ran out of food very quickly, and some people only got dessert!

Pros: the food was delicious, but I can't give them any stars - even for the taste of the food!
