I could not be happier with SMN Designs. Michael and his team did the photography for my wedding and they were amazing. Michael was so fun and goofy which helped make everyone relaxed and have a lot of fun. It ended up raining on my wedding day so we weren't able to go outside for photos but he still did his best to find beautiful places in the venue to have the photos taken. The day after my wedding I received a preview of the photos and they look amazing! I'm looking forward the seeing the rest soon!

Michael and Jared are an amazing team! We couldn't have picked a better vendor for our wedding. We highly recommend them. They were wonderful to work with. Truly allowed my visions to come to life.

I won't go into details about this company but make sure you TRULY read over your contract so there's no discrepancy on anyone.

Bottom line is I did get my pictures, they are affordable for pictures, but make sure you state what you want so you get what you want..

I am very upset after a year that I have to file a small claims as they did not follow through on the contract. I was also informed they changes our contract without giving us an addendum therefore we still have not received our prints. It apparently went to the wrong customers, and was told we will receive them in the mail within the 3 months. I received many excuses which made me feel bad, but a year is too late to wait. They also left during my wedding without me knowing and I wanted to get some pictures. I was very disappointed. They also gave us $200 discount for a no show, but still this is awful.

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!!! Our wedding was over a year ago and we still haven't received our videos and it took a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to finally get all of the pictures posted to the website. The company gives us nothing but excuses and lies and has been unprofessional from the start. They didn't live up to what they promised, took forever to get photos from engagement shoot and wedding, left the reception early, were rude to guests, and upset the bride on the wedding day. They even lied to BBB and said that they would remedy the situation and get us our video, that was over a month ago....still waiting. Our wedding was never a priority to this outfit. Do yourself a big favor to prevent stress; find a better option!!

I wish I would have seen more reviews before I booked this photography company for my wedding two years ago. To this day, we never received edited photos. I had to pay someone to edit them after literally begging this company to give me the raw files. It was months and months and months of excuses and lies that made me feel like a terrible person for bothering them. I just stumbled across some of my wedding photos (they're sadly in a box because the whole experience with SMN makes me so upset and sad) and realized I never left a review. I would hate for someone else to feel the amount of sadness that I felt because I used this company and encourage you to find someone else. I honestly don't even know if they're still up and running but if they are, stay clear. We never received a video or prints like we were promised and paid for either. All of it is just so disturbing.

Avoid at all costs! They lost nearly all (we got 10 teaser photos and we did like those photos) of my precious wedding photos when their hard drive crashed. They did not have it saved anywhere else as per the contract. They also did not send me the raw photos 3 days after as per the contract. They may have given old insurance paperwork to our vendor... it appears that way anyway and therefor I can't be certain if they were even insured. They lie and make excuses for everything and do not follow through on anything in my opinion. They refunded our money after losing our pictures and video and said they would also do a photo shoot and pay for tuxes, flowers, hair, and makeup In order to "make it right." I have it in writing. Then months later they say "sorry but we can't afford to do the photo shoot anymore." They have made me have ill feelings about my entire day when it should be one of the best days of my life. My goal is to ensure that this does not happen to anyone else! I would highly suggest that you look elsewhere for your needs. My opinion is that they are not professional or competent to make your day the best it can be.

DO NOT USE!!!! No communication after they have received all payment. Should not expect the services that were offered in the contract.

It's been 9 months since my wedding and have not received all my videos or footage. Took like 6 just to get some photos. Thery also have not answered me for a month. It's been nothing but a constant battle of communication and I feel like I have been begging for what I have paid for a year ago!! The contract and verbal communication stated we would have everything in 4-6 weeks. Now that is a very tight time frame, so I was okay it being a bit longer to get things right. But 9 months and no communication? And the communication is constant excuses...
They left my wedding earlier than promised, did not do interviews, did not bring all equiptment, did not follow poses I laid out prior... They didn't even take enough photos to get things right.

So besides just taking forever in getting me my memories back, I was already annoyed before all this back and forth. I was promised all these things... And they did not follow through.

I do not live in the area. They also promised a pre photoshoot for engagement photos so we could get to know how they shoot and get comfortable. I planned my time wisely because I only had a few days to fit everything in. Even sent a confirmation email a week before and a calendar reminder. They did not show up, made some excuse they thought it was another time and then when I arranged my day to meet then... They magically had another excuse. I should have went with my gut then. I thought I was being catfished. Not quite... But I was being fooled into thinking I was dealing with professionals. I definitely have not been.

If you are looking to use them, expect excuses... Expect things to take forever. Expect disappointment. I do NOT recommend to anyone.

I have been more than patient and it's terrible that you can take such an amazing day and ruin it with lack of being able to finish your job. Please get me my memories so I can just end all begging and communication. Thanks.
