I was looking for a wedding make-up artist and hair stylist with experience working on Asian and Black women and will travel to my home. I found Leslie through Instagram and her profile showed diversity so I inquired immediately. She was very quick to respond with a quote. Her rates are reasonable and she gave me a discount for booking multiple services!

I wanted to put in clip-in extensions on the day of the wedding, so she also gave me advice on where & what to purchase! She is very thorough and responsive in communicating.

I then booked Leslie for a trial, bride & bride's mom make-up & hair, and 2 bridesmaid make-up. For the trial I met her at her studio, it's a gorgeous and peaceful space. She is very friendly and warm so we got along great! I really appreciate her taking the time to ask questions to understand my style and comfortability. She tested colors and asked for my feedback. I then wore the make-up and hair to a small Summer wedding that afternoon and everything held up well. My partner also loved Leslie's work so my nerves were calmed!

On the wedding day, she was prompt and well prepared with her equipment. She made conversation with all the ladies and did a stunning job on my mom and two my bridesmaids as well! My jaw literally dropped seeing them all so gorgeous. My mom hated her make-up on my brother' wedding day; Leslie took the time to get the colors right and to her liking. She was very satisfied with her look!

The wedding was 9 months ago and my friend still said my make-up artist did a great job!!! You will not regret booking her. Do tip well and do feed/ nourish your artists. If it's for your wedding and they're traveling, it's a long day for them too!

Leslie is amazing! We had our wedding in June 2023 and Leslie did hair and makeup for myself (bride), 3 bridesmaids, and mother of the bride. Leslie was professional and arrived on time and followed her timeline to make sure we were all on time. My hair was beautiful, EXACTLY what I wanted. The wedding day was super hot and I only got to sit down during dinner, by the end of the night my hair still looked amazing despite the weather and my sweatiness. Leslie at Shirrel Beauty did an amazing job. She was super organized and did all of our makeup on time. I did a trial with her which I loved at the time but day of had a change of mind and she was super great about taking my feedback and making adjustments. I loved my makeup and all of my bridesmaids and mom's makeup, would definitely recommend.

I found out about Leslie through a friend and I’m so glad I went with her. She’s super nice and personable and made the whole process very easy. From initial inquiry emails all the way to morning of my wedding. She was easy to work with during my consultation session and even when I had questions leading up to my wedding she was very responsive and helpful! Leslie did my hair and makeup for both my engagement photoshoot and wedding day. She was such a pleasure to work with and we shared many laughs together during the process. Shirrell Beauty was phenomenal! My mom & I dnt wear makeup often so we were very specific how we wanted it. Not too cakey or tha feel of heavy makeup, Leslie executed everything from tha moisturizer down to tha last touches of the setting spray to her mini to go baggies. She gained a customer when in town!

Leslie was a dream to work with for my bridal party on my wedding day! She was extremely organized and responsive to all my inquiries and the countless schedule changes I requested of her. My bridal party was a diverse group of ladies but Leslie and Danyelle were both able to do beautiful work that made every single one of them happy and radiant for the wedding day. From bolder looks to natural ones, they nailed them all. Can't recommend them enough!

Excellent! Easy to communicate with and very responsive. Leslie was prompt and professional, but most importantly she is a highly skilled makeup artist. Her work was truly flawless! Would recommend her without hesitation! She was able to recruit multiple artists to accomodate my large bridal party, and arrived promptly and ready to go!
My airbrush makeup lasted all day and looked perfect even after 12+ hours! Finally, she is so kind, funny, easy going and she has a nice calm demeanor that was perfect for the hectic wedding morning. She was perfect and I could not have been happier.
