Shawna and her team truly were amazing for my wedding. I didn't do a trial so I was a bit nervous and I have a LOT of hair, but Shawna crushed it! I felt beautiful but still like myself. All of my bridesmaids have raved about their glam from my wedding and tried to recreate at other friends weddings :) I especially loved the individually grouped lashes Shawna used on everyone since they were so comfortable and I didn't even notice them!

Shawna was absolutely fantastic to work with for my wedding! From my trial to the wedding day she made me feel so gorgeous. My hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the night, I’ve never had my hair stay in place that long, even having it professionally done! I had a wedding party of 6 girls who all did hair and makeup and between her and Brandy, they made every single one look absolutely beautiful. They were super fun while we were getting ready and they finished ahead of schedule, even squeezed in makeup for my sister and mom at the end. All the girls had updos done by Shawna and each one was personalized and fitting for each girl. They were so natural looking and all stayed up and beautiful throughout the night! I would recommend SH Hair + Makeup to any bride! They make the experience a ton of fun and you’ll come out looking beautiful!

Shawna was great! The trial run of hair and makeup was a bit rushed (our fault) but she handled it very well and we were able to get a really good idea of what was to be done the day of. On the wedding morning she traveled to the venue and was amazing, I am so happy with how everything turned out! I got so many compliments and she was so great to work with. She listened to what I wanted and exceeded expectations. Thank you Shawna!!

Shawna did an amazing job making me feel and look beautiful on my big day. I traveled to her salon the morning of my big day, and had full make-up and lashed applied. She really listened, and even had pictures for me to look at on her ipad! I ended up LOVING the way I felt and looked. She was easy to work with, and relaxed. I definitely recommend Shawna!

Shawna is amazing at what she does! She is extremely talented, but it's very obvious she loves what she does as well. That's a wonderful combination. She keeps up on the latest color techniques and is very knowledgeable about the industry. She is always willing to listen to what you want and provide input and tips on any ideas or concerns you may have. Shawna is a professional, but fun too! You will leave there with a smile on your face, I'm sure of it.

I could never thank Shawna enough for her professionalism and kindness during my wedding. She set up a special time for me to do a run-through when I only had a small window of time on my visit from California. She wanted to make sure everything was perfect! On the big day, Shawna arrived right on time with coffee in tow. My hair was perfect and my makeup exactly how I had envisioned. Before the reception, Shawna took extra time to pin my hair up and refresh my makeup for a whole new look. She is as creative as she is responsive to my style - I loved everything about my look (both of them)! Shawna helped me feel beautiful and confident on one of the most important days of my life. To make it even sweeter, Shawna was very affordable and was able to work with me to make sure I stayed on budget. I just can't wait to move to Boise someday to have Shawna as my stylist! I booked Shawna for my wedding, she was scheduled for 4 hair "up do's" and makeup. I had missed my first initial appointment, that was my first mistake. Shawna reassured me that she was confident in her skills and abilities as a stylist we didn't really need to reschedule that missed appointment. I kept in contact sending photos, and describing all of our hair and skin types. The day finally arrived.... Shawna and her assistant arrived at my home to begin. I have to say the experience was amazing and made us all feel beautiful, the ending result was not as great. We all took turns in the chairs getting curled, styled, and makeup applied. Shawna did my hair and my mothers along with all the makeup. My mother loved her hair and makeup. Mine was pretty, nothing like I wanted, but it photographed well. The assistant did my brides maids, one was in loose braid (which fell out within 45 mins), and the other... well ugly is the word I am going to choose. Instead of taking pictures before the ceremony my sister (maid of honor) who is a hair genius restyled the "up do's". Like I said the experience was amazing, but not for the amount of money I paid.
