The Braid Lounge is a wedding hair and makeup team based in Meridian, Idaho. Monique Peyre is a licensed hairstylist who has been crafting wedding looks since 2015. She specializes in updos, braids, and beach waves, which all function as wonderful bridal aesthetics. Since her beginnings in the industry, Monique has continued to adapt to trends, learn new techniques, and improve her craft in order to provide her clients with expectation-exceeding services. Monique has a team of stylists she has trained who also work with her.

Monique has had the opportunity to style hair for an array of well-known events, including the Oscars and the Emmys. She has assisted some of the best stylists in the industry, working for NBC's show, The Voice. She has crafted stunning styles for a variety of celebrities such as Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and more. Her ample experiences have granted her the ability to create stunning looks that help her clients feel both confident and beautiful.

Lily joined our team one year ago as our makeup artist. She focuses on client needs and specializes in custom looks based on preference. She has experience doing exotic, full glam looks, and her most requested, the natural "angel" makeup for weddings. Lily makes sure to address your individual skin needs while using high-end products to ensure quality and longevity. Lily strives to make sure her brides feel beautiful and like themselves on their special day while enhancing their natural features rather than changing them.

Brides can schedule an initial consultation and trial in order to relay, test, and finalize their wedding-day look. In addition to providing bridal services, The Braid Lounge can accommodate members of the wedding party. Prior to the special day, clients can schedule haircuts, coloring, and extension appointments with our team. When the big day arrives, brides and their loved ones can rest assured that this team will take care of them. The Braid Lounge specializes in weddings, but also accepts all types of services, such as maternity, photo shoots, events, parties, etc. We can't wait to be a part of your special event and story.
