Hi there, we are Frannie + Nichole of Ampersand Studios! We are both Boise natives, and have been photographing weddings in the area since 2009.

Our style has been defined as light + airy, classic, and candid. We love to watch for raw and authentic body language and reactions from our couples to best tell the story of their love and their favorite day.

Our wedding planner recommended Ampersand, and we were sold after looking at their portfolio. My husband and I hate having our photos taken, but Nichole made everything a breeze. She was amazing to work with- she made us feel relaxed and created a safe, fun atmosphere for our wedding photos. Even more impressive, she had a gift with children and got them all laughing and smiling for photos! Just book with them; you won't regret it!

We had a great experience with Nichole and Fran from ampersand: they were professional, skilled, and fun to work with. Also got custom invites and thank you notes from them, which were great! LOVE LOVE our pictures from the big day.

These girls were amazing! Nicole was wonderful, she went above and beyond even helping fix my makeup after my new husband smashed a cupcake in my face :) We would definitely recommend Ampersand Studios to anyone, they are worth every penny and the images turned out gorgeous.

Nichole Schoener and Frannie Wilson at Ampersand Studios are the best! I met them a year before my wedding at my two BFF's weddings and I KNEW I wanted to work with them. They are professional, funny, and down to earth ladies that can work a camera like no other. Ampersand Studios shot our engagement photos, wedding and reception photos, as well as a private boudoir sesh for myself, well, really for my husband =) I always felt comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoots. They also created our Save-the Dates, wedding invitations, reception cards, RSVPs, place cards, menus and all things paper. The entire staff at Ampersand comes strongly recommended and highly loved! Book them ... you'll see =)

Not only were my pictures gorgeous, Nichole and Frannie were extremely helpful during my wedding day. They were on top of everything- even in areas my wedding coordinator wasn't! They made my day stress free and calmed my nerves!

The girls at Ampersand were amazing! They were available and in touch throughout the whole planning process. They were so helpful and friendly through every step! We absolutely loved our engagement pictures and we loved our wedding pictures even more! They captured so many great memories and I get compliments on the quality of our photos all the time! I was so happy with everything they did for our wedding! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

The Ampersand girls are incredibly talented photographers as well as wonderful people. I had the honor of them shooting my wedding and I couldn't have dreamt it to turn out as well as it did! Thank you Nichole and everyone else for everything!

Ampersand ROCKS! They have a unique vision on the photos they take. They helped the day flow the way it was supposed to. The few sneak peaks they gave us were amazing and we can't wait to see all our wedding pics. They have also taken other pics in the past for us! Will highly recommend them!

Ampersand was one of if not the best experience of my whole wedding. Francesca and Nichole were fantastic and were super personable and made my husband and I feel so comfortable and beautiful. They also made us beautiful invitations. I feel like this was some of the best spent money we got a lot with our package and it was all worth it.
