One of my first decisions that I made during the wedding planning process was the photographer...and it was absolutely the best decision ever! From the moment that I met Nichole, she was friendly, personable, professional and made a genuine effort to find out about us as a couple and what we were looking for in photography for our wedding. I was so impressed with her and their samples, that I immediately booked them on the spot!
Not only was Nichole our photographer for our engagement shots and the all-important wedding day, but she also designed our invitations and our signage for the wedding day. The invitations were a GORGEOUS custom letterpress design...we received (and are still receiving!) so many compliments on the invitations. During the design process, Nichole was so responsive to any of my edits and made sure that it was exactly what we were looking for!
The day of, Nichole and her 2nd photographer were amazing to work with....so many guests commented on how they felt like the photographers were literally everywhere and yet nowhere (blending in) at once. Nichole kept the entire day so fun and happy...even taking tons of pictures in 93 degree heat ! :)
We just received our proofs from the wedding day and are literally BLOWN AWAY!! We have SO many gorgeous shots that it is going to be impossible to choose what we want for our albums. We are absolutely in love with our pictures!!
If you are considering any other photographer, don't. Ampersand (especially Nichole) is hands down the best! Not only is the work absolutely amazing, but you instantly feel like you have been friends for years and that makes all the difference in getting great shots that look REAL! -

Dan Sent on 11/03/2010It was a crisp autumn afternoon much like today, I was meeting my soon-to-be Bride, Mandy, at Starbucks to meet two young gals she had fallen in love with at the wedding show a short time earlier.
When I arrived I thought that Mandy had ran into some friends of hers before our meeting with the photographers, but little did I know it was Francesca & Nichole from Ampersand who she was gabbing away with as if they had been friends for fifty years.
From that day on Francesca & Nichole were beyond amazing taking care of us with all of our needs, desires & demands.
We quickly shot an excellent engagement session we were very happy with. They helped make wonderful Save The Date Cards which were loved all around. Francesca and Nichole were ready and willing to answer our questions, bounce around ideas and anything else we needed promptly and professionally. They were flexible, helpful, knowledgeable & grateful.
When the time came for our wedding, they were quick to respond with feedback and were flexible with last minute changes, an overall wonderful duo to work with. They worked with the DJ excellently as well as the wait staff to set up photo opps and they stayed later than was originally planned without a moment of hesitation.
The photos came out amazing, the photo-booth was the coolest thing that any of our guests had ever seen, it was truly a smashing hit.
The two photo albums we received were excellent, they presented us a wonderful mock up and helped us with every change we made and they came out great. The proofs were amazing, and printed out look excellent.
Francesca & Nichole with Ampersand are, in our honest opinions, the best option in the area to work with for many different reasons.
Their style, class, professionalism, work, talent, fun, and many more adjectives/nouns are the reasons we already have referred others to them and will continue for as long as they care to keep working with anyone who admits to associating with the two of us.
Their photography work is amazing, their style and attitude is refreshing & their friendship is real.

Katie Sent on 07/15/2010I had an amazing experience with Ampersand Studios, the photographers are so easy to work with and took great pictures. We were away at college during most of the planning process and they made it so easy for us to make any last minute decisions and really made everything so simple. During the wedding day they were fabulous, they played a low profile, but yet got all the pictures we could have ever wanted. I would recommend them to anyone! -

Amber Sent on 11/15/2012Ampersand Studios did our save the date, wedding invitations and the menus for our sit down dinner. I live in New York so it was all done over the phone, emails and through the mail. Franny did a great job easing my worries. I asked a lot of questions, changed the invites a million times and she took it all in stride. I think one of the hardest parts of a wedding is the attention to detail that goes into a beautiful invite. They created our own image and everything was beautiful. I loved my stuff. I would encourage anyone looking to make an impression to have Ampersand Studios do their invites.
