First of all--the food was really good. I (the bride) obviously ate the food and liked it, but a few things my guests told me: 1. "I don't even like roast beef, but I tried it, and it was really really good," "I took the leftover risotto home and oh my god," "The food was actually super good." Lots of other really positive comments on the food quality, which I totally 100% agreed with.

All the food was super fresh, high quality, and cooked really perfectly. I highly recommend the beef & the poached pear salad.

As for all the not-food parts, they were excellent. I confess I was flexible to a fault and ended up being vague--"oh, we're having baskets of gourds as centerpieces, so whatever color you think would go with that"--and they absolutely came through. With that single bit of context about centerpieces (and of course with my OK) they went ham on the fall theming, with additional decorations and burgundy accents. It ended up so lovely, and that was totally down to the caterers. They were super willing to roll with everything, and to bring their considerable expertise and talent to it all.

Conor L was my point of contact for most of the process, including the day of, and he was absolutely fabulous.

Don't let the smaller company fool you - the team at Sensational Foods is amazing!

Logan spearheaded an A-Team of servers all night, ensuring each and every one of our guests were happy and well-fed. We even had a server (Colleen!) dedicated to my wife and I all night which made us feel so VIP.

We were initially going to go the family & friends route for our wedding reception; not necessarily to save money but we struggled to find a caterer that gave us that family feel. That all changed the moment we met the team from Sensational Foods! My wife and I attended the LGBTQ Rainbow Wedding Expo in the fall of 2017 and Sensational Foods was presenting their signature Mac & Cheese and Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese….Awesomeeee! (In my best Whitney Houston falsetto). We left the expo, called the very next day and our time together is now etched in history. Logan Ferraro worked with us form day 1 to our BIG day. He listened to our ideas, heard our concerns and developed a menu and budget to get us started and the brain juices flowing. If felt easy and nothing about planning a wedding for 130 people is easy.

The tasting was personalized and felt like sitting in a friend’s kitchen……The food was AMAZING! Our family is made up of vegans, vegetarians, carnivores and gluten free folks, and it was important that we didn’t loose any of the flavor. HA - 3 weeks later and our family is still talking about the tacos and corn bread. Uncle Murphy said, “I don’t like tacos but those tacos made me a fan.”

Oh let’s not forget we had 2 dates. A wedding date and a reception date. We were married on a Thursday evening with 20 friends and family. Initially we were taking everyone out to dinner BUT following the tasting we added Sensational Foods to that event as well. Opted for delivery to our home earlier in the day with reheating instructions. BEST veggie lasagna I ever had!

Words cannot express how much I love Stacy and Conor. My first phone call with Stacy, I went into the conversation thinking "I guess I'm ok having the standard wedding dinner - maybe we'll do it family style to mix it up a bit". After talking to Stacy and learning about standing weddings, I was sold. There's nothing I love more than small plates and variety and that's EXACTLY what she pitched to me. Stacy understood that I wanted people to have fun and dance, eat, and drink whenever they wanted rather than to have everyone on a schedule the entire night. We ended up having tons of passed appetizers: mini lobster rolls, chicken in waffle cones, pigs in a blanket, spring rolls - along with small plate stations: Asian takeout boxes filled with lo mein, crabcake/burger/pulled pork sliders, build your own mac & cheese bar with everything including steak tips. It was unreal and I wish I had been able to eat more of it! Stacy even went out of her way to make sure that she and her staff brought my husband and I platters during the night - total lifesaver. We used their staff for our bartenders as well and I must say that the waitstaff and bartenders were all phenomenal and so friendly. Stacy and Conor went above and beyond all of our expectations - they brought their own decorations for each station, did a layout walkthrough with us and our coordinator, and always made themselves available for every single tiny question I had throughout the process. Everyone is still raving about you guys and I could not love them anymore - I just hope that one day I can host another event where I can work with them again!

I can't say enough great things about Sensational Foods Catering (Watertown, MA). The food, the staff, the suggestions for my party and everything about them was amazing! I was very nervous making a party for over 100 people in my backyard and everything went perfect. My guests are still calling to tell me how great the caterers were! I will use them again and again and highly recommend them to everyone!!!!!

Sensational Foods was an amazing choice! I thought they were just my caterer, but Stacy was so knowledgeable she was essentially an event planner too! We had a less traditional wedding, but she totally understood my vision - tons of great food and lots of fun and dancing. She and her team kept my 200 guests very well fed - no one could stop taking about the food! Mini Chicken and waffles and mini lobster rolls as well as their pulled pork sliders were big hits. I arrived early to the venue to help with set up and they didn't let me lift a finger. Her team set up the tables and centerpieces and made everything look beautiful in no time at all. Susan and Eddie also helped out at my welcome party the night before and were amazing. So professional - great bartending and serving and they left everything spotless. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I priced out a number of local caterers and Sensational Foods was much more reasonably priced. That together with Stacy's responsiveness and enthusiasm for what she does made it an easy choice. I hope to be able to use them again for future events!

My guests were raving about the food and how delicious it was. From the pepperjack cheese to the Thai noodles, everyone had only good things to say. In addition, Stacy was extremely helpful in planning my menu and the delivery man (I never knew his name) was on time and set up the food beautifully for me. I'm not sure what else you could ask for in a caterer. Please use Sensational Foods for your next gathering!

Seriously, Sensational Foods is the best catering service I have ever used. We booked their services for a formal dinner event at MIT and working with them was a total pleasure. From the minute I got on the phone with Stacy, their event planner, she was totally invested in the success of our event. We had a number of hiccups on our side with respect to securing deposits and authorizations for different aspects of the event and Stacy was never flustered by any of them. At each stage, she treated us like a valuable customer and was always focused on the solution to the problem.

On the day of the event, all the items we discussed were executed perfectly. As promised, she was very conscious of time, and helped me ensure we were on schedule with the timing of the service. The food was excellent! We got a number of comments from our guests on how good the roasted chicken was, and every one seemed completed pleased with the portions and vegetarian options. During the planning process, Stacy was always ready to give a relevant, helpful suggestion and all of these suggestions helped us stay in budget without compromising the feel of the event.

At the end of the event, Sensational Foods broke down all the table settings in record time and made sure all the prep areas were completely clean and tidy. Working with Sensational Foods was a dream and I am excited to work with them on our next event! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced caterer that values costumer service and professionalism.
