Quaint historic building in great neighborhood- PERFECT FOR DIY
I've been to several weddings in this cute church. It has beautiful arts and crafts windows and charming light. The chairs can be arranged however you want and there's a full kitchen. My friends don't have a huge budget and this place allowed us to really do it ourselves. It was easy for folks to get to, too because it's walking distance from the Belmont el with the 151, 156, 36, 8 and 77 bus lines handy.Sent on 04/10/2019
They have a nice upstairs loft and you can place the round tables any way you want to. The sexton was super helpful with the heavy lifting and the clean up. They make it really easy.

Classic Lakeview Wedding Site
My wife and I were married at Second Unitarian on Barry St. and it was a great site for us. The Arts and Crafts style building is simple and beautiful with a timeless feel. Felt great to have the event in a fun, lakefront neighborhood as opposed to downtown. The staff were very helpful and made us feel quite welcome. The front garden and old brick church are a lovely setting for photos. Cubs fan bonus: we had our service rehearsal the day before and were able to walk from the Cubs game to the church in 15 minutes!Sent on 04/12/2019
