Sebastien is insanely talented, professional, and fun to have around on your wedding day. He had preview photos ready for us in less than a day and they were all incredible. He has a vision, shares it, and makes sure you’ll love it. He’s clearly super creative and cares about his work. He was also a positive energy to have around, I even had wedding guests telling me how much they loved his vibe. Can’t recommend enough, worth every penny!

Seb is THE BEST wedding photographer ever! First off, any photographer that is able to make me look photogenic is insanely talented, and he was able to do that and more. He made my (now) wife and I look like supermodels on the red carpet and captured our personality, energy, and love in all the photos he took.

We were looking for a photographer who shot and edited with attitude, that means it’s no cookie cutter filters, not your everyday shots, and created images that were one of a kind. In the SF bay area, there are very few that can do that. However, we thought Seb’s portfolio was 100% the best. Furthermore, Seb for sure is the one who cares the most about the couples. He was super easy to talk to. He got to know us very quickly and made us (who are super camera-shy) feel extremely comfortable and we were pros at the end of it.

We got an engagement package in addition to the wedding package. If you have the means for it, I would recommend it, but it’s not necessary. The engagement package got us beautiful photos and built our relationship with Seb. On the day of the wedding, it was the easiest thing. He took a back seat taking beautiful candid shots and took charge when he needed to, like corralling family members, making sure we stuck to the timeline so we could get sunset pictures, commanding the crowd for shots, being super kind and gentle with all the other family members, the list goes on. He was the perfect photographer.

Seb is also just an amazing guy. There were tons of problems going into our engagement shoot and the wedding, but he handled them beautifully. He was always kind and made us feel like we were kings and queens. I would hire him over and over again in a heartbeat.

Seb is arguably the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding day, well, aside from marrying my husband of course lol. We both wanted a candid, documentary style photographs of our wedding day and Seb delivers on it. Our pictures are beautiful and I kid you not, I look at our wedding photos at least once a week since we got married in Sept 2024. Our wedding day was the best day of my life and every time I look at our pictures I'm transported back to the day and all the feelings just came rushing in every time.

Seb is not only a talented and amazing photographer, he has an infectious and bright energy. He made us feel good and relaxed and he was able to do it just from a few hours of meeting him. Our families loved him, he was a hit. He was able to get my grandfather with Alzheimer to smile in our family pictures and he didn't even try, he was just feeding off of Seb's energy. We had guests asking for his info so that they could have him for their weddings.

He was able to get us to conjure pure emotions of love and happiness by reading out prompts to us while taking our pictures like "think about the time that you first realized that you fell in love with Cameron". The result: photos that showed our true and raw emotions. They are real and palpable and I can feel the love and happiness every time I look at our photos. That is why I love looking at our pictures.

If you're in doubt of having Seb as your photographer, don't be. This review is a sign that you should have him as your photographer. Trust us, you won't regret it.

Seb is the best photographer you will ever come across. Do not hesitate to hire him for your wedding and all of your couple photo needs. My husband and I fell in love with Seb's photos on Instagram and met him first on Zoom. He is charming and delightful and has a talent for making you feel totally natural and at ease - a special skill when taking photos can sometimes feel unnatural! We were clear with Seb that we wanted our photos to capture the fun and silly nature of our relationship as well as our love. Seb listened to us and did just that. I am so grateful that my friend recommended Seb to us. The moment my then fiancé and I had our first Zoom call with him, we couldn’t imagine anyone else by our side on our wedding day. We interviewed a couple other photographers after meeting Seb, purely out of doing our due diligence, but we knew he was the one right off the bat. Seb’s work is unique and stunning, but his stellar personality won us over. The three of us connected so quickly on a personal level, which is so important when considering what an integral part he would be at our wedding. One moment I remember so vividly with Seb is when I arrived to the venue on the wedding day. He told me there was an issue with our chosen ceremony location because of the natural lighting and time of day. He proposed moving the ceremony to a different location and painted the figurative picture of how the ceremony would go. His confidence and excitement with the change put me completely at ease, and his vision made our ceremony better than we could have imagined! You will not get just a “vendor” with Seb. You get his heart and soul and a friendship, if you’re lucky :)

Sebastien exceeded our expectations of a wedding photographer. Both my husband and I have rarely liked photos of ourselves or felt comfortable in front of a camera until we met Seb. He knows how to find connection in a couple and bring that out naturally. He gives helpful suggestions and advice, but above all else, wants you to feel like you.

From our first intro call, we knew he was the right guy for us. He was warm, inquisitive and genuine, and his positive energy is contagious. We invited Sebastien to go camping with us for our engagement photo shoot, and he eagerly accepted. We had an incredible time sharing an activity we enjoy. He let us be us, and it felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. He truly made us, and our experience as a couple, feel special.

I remember being overjoyed when I saw Sebastien on the morning of our wedding, knowing that once he showed up, it was going to be a good day from there. He executed posed family photos quickly and efficiently, and managed to capture so many little moments that had me saying, "how did he even get that??"

Seb is the perfect combination of professionalism, energy and artistry. I can't recommend him enough.

I initially discovered and booked Seb in 2019 when searching for a wedding photographer. Our Summer 2020 wedding went the way of most other large gatherings during the Covid-19 pandemic, so after postponing it we decided to also book him -- having never actually met in-person, only on Zoom -- for a 3-day photoshoot in Montana where we planned to elope. It was risky, committing that much money and time to someone we'd never met.

But it turned out to be one of the BEST decisions I made, of the countless decisions in the last 2 years of wedding planning. Seb talked about how he tried to be friends with his couples, but my now-husband and I are both super awkward in front of a camera and introverts to boot, so I had doubts about whether we could *actually* be friends with a random person. After those 3 days though, I was sad to see Seb leave to fly back to Sacramento, and by the time our actual wedding rolled around I was anticipating getting to hang out with him again! I am already mentally planning to hire him again for a 5-year anniversary photoshoot -- putting my (future) money where my mouth is.

As to his work: both sets of our photos far exceeded our expectations, both true to his artistic style (I had picked Seb based primarily on the strength of his portfolio) and to us as people. I was looking for a fine art photography style, though I preferred moodier play of light than the bright-and-soft aesthetic of film photographers, but I also wanted to capture candid emotion -- and our photos did both to a T.

Btw, we took Seb on a strenuous 9-mile hike in Glacier National Park during our engagement shoot, and *while* carrying the heaviest pack full of multiple cameras and lenses, he still hiked faster than us while looking less out of breath. He is not going to be tired out by a long wedding day of shooting, and he is serious about the "adventure" part of his adventure sessions if you are.

We got married at SF city hall in July of 2021. Sebastien was our photographer. We couldn’t have had a better experience!! He was so professional and personable. We now have a beautiful gallery of photos to look back on our special day. He does an amazing job of capturing the moment. I am so happy we ended up choosing Seb as our photographer and would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful photos of their special moments.

My fiance and I spent a lot of time combing through engagement/wedding photographer websites, profiles, and portfolios before finding Sebastien, and we're so glad that we did. We greatly enjoyed working with him throughout the entire process; he matched everything that we were looking for in a photographer and more.

We love Seb's approach to his work - candid photos, not too posed, with small things here and there that just highlight the couple as two humans together, such as the glance that one person makes to the other during a joke. During the shoot, Seb would give us prompts to naturally bring out our body language, facial expressions, etc. That was SUPER helpful for us because we are not used to being in front of the camera, especially for extended periods of time! He also took the time to arrive early and shoot photos of the scenery, which was perfect because that's also exactly what we loved the area we chose (Big Sur). Additionally, we appreciated his post-processing work - we loved that it was not overly exposed or overly contrasted. Natural colors in the landscape, lighting, and our clothes were subtly enhanced. It was exactly the style we were looking for. The turnaround time was great and he even included some GIFs!

Right from the start, we were drawn in by Seb's energy, warmth, and friendliness. We immediately felt a connection with Seb within 5 minutes into the intro call. We could also sense his passion for his work and professionalism, so we gave him a general idea of our vision ("Big Sur, nature, ocean and rocks and maybe trees") and trusted him to run with his creativity. He was very responsive and flexible throughout this whole process, which we appreciated since we were trying to plan the shoot during the pandemic. He brought really good energy during shoot and gave us good direction when we needed it. He listened to what we wanted and took us to the perfect locations in Big Sur.

Overall, highly recommend!

We very infrequently write reviews, but in this case our experience was so special and positive that it would be a disservice to deprive others of the knowledge of this true genius’s work. My husband and I recently celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary, and as has become a tradition for us, plan a shoot every 10 years, and wanted to find a photographer who would capture us as we are at this stage in our lives. We would not have ordinarily been made aware of Seb as he specializes in elopements, but on the very glowing recommendation of a trusted friend, discovered his masterful work.

From the moment we began our involvement, Seb was responsive, helpful, respectful, courteous, and insightful. His customary initial meetup entailed learning about our relationship and sharing his story and style, and we so appreciated his transparency and openness. The meeting felt warm, engaging, and friendly—like a call with an old friend. We are dancers and this history is central to our life together, and Seb was forthright that he doesn’t dance and won’t pose us dancing (but still we ended up with this gallery of numerous photographers of our dancing, beautifully capturing every lift, dip, kick, and throw that we spontaneously engaged in). He clearly doesn’t intend to sell anything, but more seeks to discover goodness of fit.

He was in continuous communication with us throughout the process to ensure that he understood our priorities. We had a very ambitious goal of shooting at many of our favorite spots in San Francisco, and many others thought this would not be possible, but Seb crafted a seamless plan to shoot over two days, with all the considerations for timing and light conditions accounted for. He managed these myriad variables effortlessly. His plan was so well articulated and detailed that he had our shooting locations mapped out to the minute and even second (seriously!). He somehow kept things moving quickly though our experience was that of a very romantic and meandering journey.

Seb took the time to get to know us and our relationship ahead of the shoot, so during our time together, he used our favorite music and the knowledge of our love story to create the most moving and special moments together. The photos we have aren’t just portraits of how we looked on those days—they’re gifts from him of artistic works that are sealed in time and that capture a very meaningful moment for the two of us—so very many moments, each of which has a unique story and memory for us now.

What was very surprising despite his careful detail orientation and time appreciation, was how little his concern with charging for his time or even managing his own basic needs. On both days, he arrived early and left late, always eager to find more to shoot, ambitiously navigating his several cameras, contorting himself to find the right shooting angles, and literally running from place to place—seemingly without need for food or rest. He very clearly has tremendous passion for his craft and worked tirelessly for us.

When we received our photo gallery (so quickly btw!), beyond the most exquisite photos we had ever seen, what struck us most is that ours looked nothing like any of the galleries we had ever seen from his portfolio before, but perfectly captured how we see each other—yet somehow better. He doesn’t just see Instagram worthy opportunities, he sees people as they are, but somehow reimagined in their most exquisite form. What a gift that is to share.

The only downside—we planned a gallery wall of 16-20 of the best shots. Even narrowing down to our absolutely must have displayed—we end up with over a hundred, and narrowing further generates anxiety! You too will have this problem, Im sure.

We had many events scheduled to mark this occasion, but working with Seb on those days will forever be the highlight of this time for us. His generosity of spirit and passion for love, life, beauty, and authenticity seem too good to be true but are somehow real, raw, and in the flesh. He will bring these things out of you, render them in artistic works, and carve them in time.

My fiancé and I booked Sebastien for our engagement shoot in Yosemite and it was the best decision we've ever made! Sebastien was so punctual & professional from the get go- with prompt responses and zoom meetings to get to know us. You can tell how passionate he is about his work from the first second you speak to him, and he truly cares that he delivers what you want. The day of we were so nervous because I wanted these photos to be amazing and I'm a perfectionist, I was just hoping the experience wouldn't be awkward and he'd be able to capture who we really are. Let me just say he did nothing short of delivering! He made us so comfortable during the shoot, of course it was a little awkward in the beginning but after the initial few shots he just had a way of allowing us to be vulnerable with him and be ourselves, at some points it was like he wasn't even there. He also made sure the day was such a great experience for us, he truly wanted us to have fun. The best part, the photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined! I had very high expectations and he exceeded all of them! We will cherish these photos and that day forever. I cannot say enough great things about him and his work.
