Sebastien is insanely talented, professional, and fun to have around on your wedding day. He had preview photos ready for us in less than a day and they were all incredible. He has a vision, shares it, and makes sure you’ll love it. He’s clearly super creative and cares about his work. He was also a positive energy to have around, I even had wedding guests telling me how much they loved his vibe. Can’t recommend enough, worth every penny! -

My review:
Seb is THE BEST wedding photographer ever! First off, any photographer that is able to make me look photogenic is insanely talented, and he was able to do that and more. He made my (now) wife and I look like supermodels on the red carpet and captured our personality, energy, and love in all the photos he took.
We were looking for a photographer who shot and edited with attitude, that means it’s no cookie cutter filters, not your everyday shots, and created images that were one of a kind. In the SF bay area, there are very few that can do that. However, we thought Seb’s portfolio was 100% the best. Furthermore, Seb for sure is the one who cares the most about the couples. He was super easy to talk to. He got to know us very quickly and made us (who are super camera-shy) feel extremely comfortable and we were pros at the end of it.
We got an engagement package in addition to the wedding package. If you have the means for it, I would recommend it, but it’s not necessary. The engagement package got us beautiful photos and built our relationship with Seb. On the day of the wedding, it was the easiest thing. He took a back seat taking beautiful candid shots and took charge when he needed to, like corralling family members, making sure we stuck to the timeline so we could get sunset pictures, commanding the crowd for shots, being super kind and gentle with all the other family members, the list goes on. He was the perfect photographer.
Seb is also just an amazing guy. There were tons of problems going into our engagement shoot and the wedding, but he handled them beautifully. He was always kind and made us feel like we were kings and queens. I would hire him over and over again in a heartbeat.
Review by my gorgeous and amazing wife:
Seb is arguably the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding day, well, aside from marrying my husband of course lol. We both wanted a candid, documentary style photographs of our wedding day and Seb delivers on it. Our pictures are beautiful and I kid you not, I look at our wedding photos at least once a week since we got married in Sept 2024. Our wedding day was the best day of my life and every time I look at our pictures I'm transported back to the day and all the feelings just came rushing in every time.
Seb is not only a talented and amazing photographer, he has an infectious and bright energy. He made us feel good and relaxed and he was able to do it just from a few hours of meeting him. Our families loved him, he was a hit. He was able to get my grandfather with Alzheimer to smile in our family pictures and he didn't even try, he was just feeding off of Seb's energy. We had guests asking for his info so that they could have him for their weddings.
He was able to get us to conjure pure emotions of love and happiness by reading out prompts to us while taking our pictures like "think about the time that you first realized that you fell in love with Cameron". The result: photos that showed our true and raw emotions. They are real and palpable and I can feel the love and happiness every time I look at our photos. That is why I love looking at our pictures.
If you're in doubt of having Seb as your photographer, don't be. This review is a sign that you should have him as your photographer. Trust us, you won't regret it.

Seb is the best photographer you will ever come across. Do not hesitate to hire him for your wedding and all of your couple photo needs. My husband and I fell in love with Seb's photos on Instagram and met him first on Zoom. He is charming and delightful and has a talent for making you feel totally natural and at ease - a special skill when taking photos can sometimes feel unnatural! We were clear with Seb that we wanted our photos to capture the fun and silly nature of our relationship as well as our love. Seb listened to us and did just that. We hired him for our engagement photos and then our wedding. Hiring Seb was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We will cherish his photos of this special time in our lives forever. Thank you Seb! -

I am so grateful that my friend recommended Seb to us. The moment my then fiancé and I had our first Zoom call with him, we couldn’t imagine anyone else by our side on our wedding day. We interviewed a couple other photographers after meeting Seb, purely out of doing our due diligence, but we knew he was the one right off the bat. Seb’s work is unique and stunning, but his stellar personality won us over. The three of us connected so quickly on a personal level, which is so important when considering what an integral part he would be at our wedding. One moment I remember so vividly with Seb is when I arrived to the venue on the wedding day. He told me there was an issue with our chosen ceremony location because of the natural lighting and time of day. He proposed moving the ceremony to a different location and painted the figurative picture of how the ceremony would go. His confidence and excitement with the change put me completely at ease, and his vision made our ceremony better than we could have imagined! You will not get just a “vendor” with Seb. You get his heart and soul and a friendship, if you’re lucky :) -

Sebastien exceeded our expectations of a wedding photographer. Both my husband and I have rarely liked photos of ourselves or felt comfortable in front of a camera until we met Seb. He knows how to find connection in a couple and bring that out naturally. He gives helpful suggestions and advice, but above all else, wants you to feel like you.
From our first intro call, we knew he was the right guy for us. He was warm, inquisitive and genuine, and his positive energy is contagious. We invited Sebastien to go camping with us for our engagement photo shoot, and he eagerly accepted. We had an incredible time sharing an activity we enjoy. He let us be us, and it felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. He truly made us, and our experience as a couple, feel special.
I remember being overjoyed when I saw Sebastien on the morning of our wedding, knowing that once he showed up, it was going to be a good day from there. He executed posed family photos quickly and efficiently, and managed to capture so many little moments that had me saying, "how did he even get that??"
Seb is the perfect combination of professionalism, energy and artistry. I can't recommend him enough.

We got married at SF city hall in July of 2021. Sebastien was our photographer. We couldn’t have had a better experience!! He was so professional and personable. We now have a beautiful gallery of photos to look back on our special day. He does an amazing job of capturing the moment. I am so happy we ended up choosing Seb as our photographer and would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful photos of their special moments. -

Best Yosemite engagement shoot ever!
My fiancé and I booked Sebastien for our engagement shoot in Yosemite and it was the best decision we've ever made! Sebastien was so punctual & professional from the get go- with prompt responses and zoom meetings to get to know us. You can tell how passionate he is about his work from the first second you speak to him, and he truly cares that he delivers what you want. The day of we were so nervous because I wanted these photos to be amazing and I'm a perfectionist, I was just hoping the experience wouldn't be awkward and he'd be able to capture who we really are. Let me just say he did nothing short of delivering! He made us so comfortable during the shoot, of course it was a little awkward in the beginning but after the initial few shots he just had a way of allowing us to be vulnerable with him and be ourselves, at some points it was like he wasn't even there. He also made sure the day was such a great experience for us, he truly wanted us to have fun. The best part, the photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined! I had very high expectations and he exceeded all of them! We will cherish these photos and that day forever. I cannot say enough great things about him and his work. -

Hiring Seb is one of the best decisions you will make!
From the very beginning of the process of working with Sebastien, he was so friendly, responsive, and his energy and passion quickly became apparent.
The couples session with Sebastien was amazing! He immediately made us comfortable upon meeting him in person and rather than a photo shoot it felt like we were going on an adventure with a long-time friend.
The day (we took a hike in Marin County) was so much fun and was truly a bonding experience for us. The photos that came after were beautiful. We don’t consider ourselves photogenic, so how Sebastien managed to get shot after shot of us looking good is really something to behold.
We met ahead of the session just to spend a little more time warming up to each other, and I love that Seb tries to make a point to do this - it’s clear that his priority is the couples’ comfort, and really wants to capture memories, not just simply capture “photos.”
Most importantly, beyond capturing amazing pictures, Seb was able to capture so much of our emotion and love in his photos, and that’s all due to his work in making us extremely comfortable and giving us enough direction, but not too much, so that it allowed us to be natural with each other.
I love that we will forever have the wonderful memories from that day captured in these stunning photos, and every time we look through them we're reminded of all the fun and love from those few hours together.
If you work with Sebastien, you’re really getting two things for the price of one. An experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life and professional, quality photos that will blow you away.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Seb. From the moment we first spoke with him over the phone, his contagious energy made us feel so excited and comfortable. Working with Sebastien for our wedding was the easiest decision we made. My husband and I knew we wanted to work with him before we even had our venue booked! Sebastien is professional and communicative, while also being an extremely talented photographer. He photographed our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding. Our friends and family were so impressed with him during the events! He is super personable, but he also blends in. He captured so many amazing candids - great moments - my husband and I didn't even know were happening (which was great since we didn't hire a videographer)! He made us feel comfortable during intimate moments (which can be awkward at first) and was efficient and directive for the wedding formals. We love our photographs so much and are so thankful we got to work with Sebastien! -

Seb is truly one of a kind! Our experience with him was amazing! He goes above and beyond to not only your capture perfect wedding photographs but also making the experience capturing them unforgettable. He has such a great eye behind the lens and really knows how to capture the feeling at that exact moment in his photographs. He knew exactly what we wanted and exactly what we didn't want. Every SINGLE photo he took is frame-worthy, and we are still having trouble picking a few selects to hang in our house.
Seb is also one of the coolest guys we have ever been around. From the moment we spoke with him via skype, to the day he showed us the photos he made us feel extremely special. He has such a great attitude and always made us smile! He really took the time to get to know us and who we were and what we were all about. He knew I was nervous to be in front of the camera and helped me relax with funny stories, playing music I liked, talked about our cats, and even had us play word games to distract us and prevent us from looking awkward in from of the camera. You spend a lot of personal time with your wedding photographer and I wished we had more time to hang out with him (with or without the camera!). He worked so hard to capture every moment and make everyone feel part of the experience. We highly highly recommend Seb for anyone's wedding and we wish him the best!!!! -

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing and talented Sebastien is! We absolutely loved working with him (as did our bridal party and families)! Sebastien made our engagement photos, our wedding day photos, and our day-after session so much fun and easy. We were both nervous before the engagement session about being photographed, but Sebastien made it so easy, gave us pointers to make the pictures look great and natural, and ensured we had fun. We trusted him completely by the time the wedding came around, and had no doubt he would do an amazing job. His work is phenomenal, and we were blown away by the photos!!! Sebastien quite literally saved our wedding. I was so stressed and turning into a bridezilla when he showed up. He came in with such a calm spirit and just took control of the situation. He kept me calm and laughing when I normally hate taking pictures. He got both sides of our entire family to take a group photos in less than 2 minutes. This was around 50 people ages 2 - 85. Absolutely incredible. He has a way to get the most natural photos in the moment and makes you have fun in the meantime. We had a 10 minute couple session with him, and he asked before the shoot if we wanted to do 5, 10, or 15 minutes. He was more on top of the schedule than our wedding planners! Every person who interacted with him at the wedding has commented on how amazing he was. Of course all my bridesmaids were in love with him so that made photos so fun. The beauty of his work speaks for itself. Truly an artist. Makes you feel like you're hanging out with a friend. He went above and beyond in every way possible. The pictures turned out stunning, and it was unbelievable how quickly he had them back to us. He captured so many fun moments we wouldn't have even known about if it wasn't for him. Also a fun surprise was that he also made a bunch of GIFs along with the photos! I recommend him to every couple I hear is getting married. -

Highly Recommended!
Sebastien far exceeded our expectations for our wedding photos! I don't like taking photos or being the center of attention so I knew our photographer had his or her work cut for them. Sebastien made it so easy, he was so thorough and listened to exactly what we wanted. He was easily able to accomodate my fear of attention and captured so many good moments. Sebastien was an absolute joy to work with! My fiancée was flying in from Singapore and due to a snowstorm, our original photoshoot location at Yosemite was a no-go. Sebastien was very prompt in monitoring the situation and suggested alternatives.
Despite the last minute change, Sebastien made the shoot so easy and enjoyable for us with his energy. He is really quite unique as a photographer, because of his energy. Makes him more a Friend than a photographer.

Sebastien shot our engagement photos in Big Sur in November of 2018 and he exceeded our expectations in every way!! He was very communicative up front and really got to know us before our photo session. The day of our session he made us feel so at ease and it was a truly enjoyable and memorable time for us. Then, he got the fully edited photos to us SO fast and they looked absolutely GORGEOUS! I cried when I saw them and multiple people have told us they are the most beautiful engagement photos they have ever seen. I can only say positive things about Sebastien, he is insanely talented and was born to be a photographer. (I am a photographer myself so I am super picky!) Sebastien is incredible. We were so lucky to be able to work with him for our engagement photos.
We didn't want the traditional, cheesy piggy back photos, and instead wanted something more artist and out of the norm. We were so incredible pleased with the results, and ended up with more fantastic photos than we were able to use across our website, save-the-date, and registries (there were so many good ones it was hard to pick).
I appreciated his attention to detail and desire to get to know us better before and at the start of the shoot. He really put us at ease right from the beginning, and made us feel like natural models. And he used interesting techniques to get us to have more natural expressions on our faces (e.g. laughing), instead of the typical forced smile that I so commonly make it photos.
As for the photos themselves, we were able to get a couple of locations in, and he was even willing to work with our dog at one sight. We got a huge varied of angles, framing, contrast, and poses. Not just your standard "face the camera and smile" kind of photoshoot.
Sebastien is not just a photographer, he is an artist. He understands light and location extremely well, and was able to produce images with stunning contrast.

Best decision ever!
Working with Sebastien was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! He was extremely easy to work with from start to finish. He was very organized providing us with questionnaires to get to know us better, make us feel comfortable on our engagement shoot to knowing exactly what photos we needed for our wedding. He really kept us on track, which was nice considering all the other things that were going on during the planning process. It is also not hard to love his personality, even our guests complimented his high energy and charm. But most importantly of all, Sebastien was able to capture the most beautiful photos we have ever taken. We will no doubt be cherishing them for a lifetime, and to me that is priceless! Thank you again Sebastien, we couldn’t be happier! -

Justin Sent on 09/20/2018Sebastien is awesome! Not only is Seb full of energy and smiles, he has an amazing eye and delivers some of the most beautiful cinematic art. My wife and I first met Seb online. Our intro video call, which was supposed to last about 30 minutes, ended up going almost for almost 2 hours, as we shared countless stories and laughs. We knew right away Seb was the right man to photograph our wedding. From the start, he was very organized and detailed, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple.
On the day of the wedding, Sebastien showed up right on time and ready to rock! If you’ve never met Seb, you’re in for a treat. He floated seamlessly around the venue, capturing every moment from different angles and perspectives. In addition to candid moments, Seb is a pro at directing set shots. Everyone involved loved his flair and charisma.
Our photos were finalized and available in just a couple weeks. Needless to say, we were super impressed and very happy with the results. We would not hesitate to recommend Sebastien for any photography needs and hope to keep in touch as friends. Thanks Seb! -

Per Seb’s request, we started at our apartment and went on to take additional photos in our neighborhood. From the very beginning to the end of our time together, Seb made us feel super comfortable, stoked in the moment, and so in love. The fact that he got to know us beforehand and was able to capture the little moments in between shots meant the world to us. We’ve gotten such amazing feedback from our friends and family about how unique & beautiful our engagement photos turned out. I highly recommend working with him!

We did both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding with Sebastien, and have so many epic pictures from both. For our engagement session, we elected to go big and do an adventure road trip photoshoot. We met Sebastien for the first time at the Las Vegas airport, and immediately he put us at ease. We then spent the next three days in the car with him, driving through three different states, exploring different parks, all while having a blast with the different photo shoots. Sebastien is super easy to get along with and is extremely hardworking. When we saw him again for our wedding, it felt like we had another friend there supporting us for the day. We had so many compliments from our family and friends about the respectful way he interacted with them and how they enjoyed watching him work- all the different angles he'd get (while still being discreet). They felt like if he needed to dangle from a tree upside down to get a good angle, he'd do it! :) I highly, HIGHLY recommend Sebastien Bicard for any type of photoshoot you want to do, and especially if you want to have a crazy cool road trip adventure photoshoot!

I reached out in hopes he would be available to shoot our engagement photos while my fiancé and I were going to be in the Big Sur area. Seb stayed in contact with me in the months prior to the shoot and even recommended different wardrobe ideas. This was my very first time to be photographed professionally and I was so nervous but he really made things easier than I could have ever imagined. Sarah Sent on 11/24/2017Wow, where do I begin! Sebastien's commitment and passion for photography is absolutely remarkable. From the second we showed interest in booking him, his enthusiasm and fun demeanor were infectious. He took on the task of photographing our wedding with the same seriousness given to a larger scale project, and showed the professionalism and attention-to-detail that made us feel at ease in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding day. Although he certainly has a very busy schedule, he still prioritizes every job, and I would definitely recommend making it a point to meet and discuss the plan for the day with him as much as possible ahead of time (especially if you can do a venue walk-through with him).
When the day of the wedding finally arrived, there was Sebastien, ready to take us through the next few hours with charm and tenacity. He expertly guided both of us through each photo setup like he was crafting a piece of art, making sure we were always in the best light while giving us little suggestions to keep us comfortable. His hilarious expressions and wild personality were a high-light and something our wedding guests talked about for days after the fact (like the way he would loudly exclaim 'BAM!' after nailing a photo he was pleased with).
But the best part of the experience was seeing the photos after he sent them to us. The way he was able to capture moments with an incredible eye for lighting and composition gave us such pleasure in knowing we picked the right guy for the job. These are photos that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives, and we're beyond thrilled that we trusted Sebastien to capture them for us. -

Jordan Sent on 10/12/2017My husband and I cannot recommend Sebastien enough. We hired Sebastien for our engagement session in April 2017 and wedding in August 2017, and simply love our photos. We chose Sebastien because we liked his color-infused, vivid style and his work really lived up to our expectations. Sebastien is also a fun, interesting guy. He made our engagement session (which we were sort of dreading) not awkward but enjoyable, and a few of our guests remarked that he brought a lot of energy to our wedding reception. He also has a fantastic website so payment, communication, viewing your photos etc. is super easy. You also get all photo in digital format, which is really nice. -
Anne Sent on 09/30/2017Everyone we talked to told us that our wedding photos were forever and that we'd want to really invest in a good photographer. After interviewing countless companies and individuals, we decided that Sebastien was our best bet! He had the most impressive portfolio, we got along with him fairly well, he was prompt with responses, and most importantly, he wasn't outrageously expensive (though he was the most expensive option of the bunch.)
We are absolutely and 110% satisfied with our decision. First and foremost, our engagement photos came out fantastic. He really captured the love and fun between my fiance (now husband) and I. More importantly, he made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, which then translated to exceptional and fantastic shots!
He kept in touch with us in the upcoming weeks of the wedding and if we ever had questions, Seb answered in a day or two, even though it was the height of wedding season!
During the wedding itself, he was amazing. He got some amazing shots of just me and my husband, but also of our entire family and friends. He even got my nephew (our ring bearer) to stand still and smile for a bunch of photos!! My niece/flower girl was also enamored with him. ;) He really made all of our friends and family feel at ease when we were taking photos! He also listened to me whenever I had concerns about taking photos in muddy ground. He instead made due with our location and still managed to get amazing and gorgeous shots.
Overall, I would absolutely and totally recommend Sebastien, because he's a true professional and a master at his craft! -

Ivonne Sent on 10/11/2016Me and my fiancé are getting married in Colorado but we wanted our engagement shoot in Lake Tahoe. We found Sebastien and honestly it was our lucky day. He joked around with us to make us comfortable, great conversationalist, and VERY enthusiastic. I truly felt he really loved being there with us and resulting photos show that he definitely did. The way he found the light was pretty magical. We there were hiking over boulders, running to track the Sun. Very cool experience. I totally recommend him! -- Thanks, Sebasien! I just got a hard cover album with the photos and can't stop looking at it.
