A lot of brides think a photojournalist is someone who doesn't do posing and just captures the moment as raw as possible. However, this may be your first time being photographed let alone constantly kissing and expressing love in front of a stranger, WHAT'S NATURAL ABOUT THAT?!? We believe in letting the raw moments be just that, "RAW!", but we know when it comes time for intimate photos you may need a little help.
When it comes to editing we try to create a look that falls in between dark & moody and light & airy. We want the end result to be something you will love 20-40-60 years from now and not feel "what were we thinking!" We believe in enhancing the beauty that is already there, not altering it beyond recognition so the final product mirrors what you saw & felt on your special day.

In addition to our wedding- we had our engagement shoot done by them. I cannot believe how relaxed Joe & Kaylyn made us feel! From steaming our clothes to moving pieces of hair out of my face in between shots, these two REALLY are professionals. You don't just get a point + shoot. All of our photos came out too beautiful for words.
For our wedding, I did not hire a 'Day of Coordinator' thinking it was a small enough wedding & the people involved all knew their duties. HA!! WAS I WRONG!! Kaylyn not only spent the entire day getting ready with me (while Joe was with the guys) but once the wedding was really rolling she was the one to keep us all in order with the timeline!
I cannot thank Kaylyn enough- she literally came in & saved my wedding! Without her I'm pretty sure we would've forgotten to cut our cake.. or even throw the bouquet! LOL :)
As far as how long it took for the photos to come back I was so thrilled to see teasers to keep me satified until the whole set came to us (which was not very long at all)! I have heard horror stories of people waiting more than 3 months! That was not the case here at all.
Their bright, uplighting style really catches the eyes + pops. I honestly cannot wait for our next big adventure that will need professional photos so I can work with them again!
