Absolutely beautiful wedding cake and delicious as were the cookie trays, all at a very reasonable price! We brought a picture of a wedding cake which they duplicated the design to perfection as well as adding more sugar roses on top at our request. We served the cake and cookies on a dessert/coffee buffet and every cookie and piece of cake was devoured! Our guests are still talking about how good the cake and cookies were. It was also a pleasure to work directly with the owners for our wedding needs. Truly a gem!!!!

We had the most amazing cake and pastries from Scialo Bros Bakery on Atwells Ave in Providence. The previous bride may have been referring to a bakery with a similar name (in Seekonk, MA) that is not "the” Scialo Bros Bakery. We had an almond flavored cake with buttercream frosting at our engagement party that was gorgeous and guests are still raving about the flavor! Everything is made by hand with the finest ingredients! We also served a variety of cookies for an extra dessert during our reception. Guests loved eating a few cookies with their coffee and wrapping a few in clear bags for later (great favor idea!). Finally, we also had frosted sugar cookies in wedding shapes that guests took on their way home. The cookies were moist and delicious and decorated perfectly! The owners are delightful to work with and provided insight from their many years of experience with weddings. This bakery is among a rare breed; the perfect blend of old world authenticity and modern design.

I walked in off the street without an appointment and asked when would be good to come in for a possible cake tasting. Even though there was a line to the door, they ushered my sister, mother, and I in and showed us their cake books, gave us a tour of the facility, and sat down to discuss our options. They even have styrofoam cake layers to put together to decide what your full-scale cake could look like. They give you straightforward, reasonable prices and are open to design choices. Extremely helpful and kind. They also sent us home with a box of nine cupcakes in several flavors--all of which were amazing! That sold us. I'm not normally a big chocolate fan, but their is absolutely fantastic. Yum!
