We live in Boston (I grew up in Las Vegas) and more than 95% of our guests were either traveling from the East Coast or from outside of the Vegas area, so we needed full-service wedding design and planning. Outside of the entertainment we wanted to have and the venues where we wanted to hold our church ceremony and reception, we felt lost initially. Let me first start off by saying how unbelievably impressive Scheme Events was from the moment we retained them to plan our wedding. Our wedding planner, Francesca Torrella, was helpful in every facet of the planning of our wedding. At our first meeting, she was extremely attentive and captured our vision so well. She helped us prioritize the most important features of our wedding to help develop a workable budget that fit our needs. She also helped find amazing vendors and facilitated contact with each of them to ensure that the wedding planning was as seamless as possible. She even located a photographer/videographer company out of California that was absolutely perfect for us and totally captured the vision of our wedding. The careful details and attention that Francesca gave to us in the months and days leading up to our special day was nothing short of spectacular.

Francesca met with us quarterly, in person to discuss the wedding details as the day came closer. She was always timely in her responses to our e-mails and maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire planning process. When unexpected circumstances arose in the days leading up to the wedding, Francesca was there for us to provide great solutions to ensure that the wedding and reception were amazing.

Approximately one month from our wedding date, Francesca put together sample layouts for our reception. We also met her at our venue to help us make the right decisions regarding the layout. I interviewed/met with tons of wedding planners but when I met Tara it was different. I could tell she had a passion for her work and she genuinely loved what she did.

I loved the fact that I was able to work directly work with her. Some of my girl friends that got married said they were mostly in communication with the wedding planner’s assistant. This was not the case with Tara. Even though I knew she was planning other weddings she never made us feel like our wedding was not important or too far down the road to worry about. We always felt like her main priority. I also loved the fact that I could email Tara at 9:30PM and when I would wake up the next day I would have an email from her answering all my million questions.
