Facilities and Capacity
If you dream of a traditional wedding ceremony, then the Wightman Chapel could be a great choice for you. This gothic cathedral-style chapel was built in 1928, making it both a historical and architectural treasure. It can hold up to 300 guests, which means you'll get to invite all your loved ones. On the other hand, you might prefer the Skinner Chapel for a more intimate wedding ceremony of up to 20 guests. It's one of Scarritt Bennett's smaller chapels that features beautiful wood paneling and stained glass windows. For outdoor ceremonies, the Labyrinth Garden can seat up to 80 guests. Here, you can exchange your most sincere vows surrounded by colorful cherry blossoms and bright dogwood trees. What's more, this space can easily convert into an open or tented reception after the ceremony.

Highly Recommend, Great Vendors and Planner
Originally, we’d booked the Labyrinth Garden for our ceremony, but had a last minute change due to weather and decided to move to the Wightman Chapel since it was not previously booked. Meg’s foresight was so greatly appreciated and helped ease my worry about the comfort of our guests.
We loved that the intimate wedding package included so much with the booking, such as florals, the officiant, seating, and live streaming of our wedding for friends and family back home. As I mentioned, all the vendors were great to work with and very trustworthy. I highly recommend booking your wedding with Scarritt Bennett Center.

Absolutely stunning!
Meg Muckey and her crew were amazing to work with, and paid attention to every detail from beginning to end. The rooms for the bridal party were spacious with plenty of natural light for makeup and just down the hall from the chapel. We had both a light brunch and the rehearsal dinner on the premises and they were nice. All in all I cannot recommend Scarritt Bennett and Wightman Chapel highly enough!
