Situated in Santa Rosa, California, Sbragia Family Vineyards is a breathtaking winery wedding venue. Perched on the edge of the splendid Dry Creek Valley, this unique setting radiates traditional countryside elegance. With a hint of classic Italian ambiance, here you are invited to celebrate your ceremony and reception, alongside pre-wedding gatherings and the rehearsal dinner.

Facilities and Capacity

Sbragia Family Vineyards welcomes celebrations with up to 150 guests to their vineyards and terraces. The vineyard, named La Promessa, is dedicated to the founder’s family and the tradition of winemaking. A covered patio offers a shady space from which you are still treated to the beauty of the environment around the vineyard. As your guests arrive, they enter the welcoming tasting room, where they are introduced to the unique splendor of the vineyards. From here, it is a magical walk to the terrace for the ceremony, where you exchange your vows high above the vineyard-covered hills below. Coming together to celebrate momentous occasions like a wedding day is intrinsic to the history of this space. They hope to provide a romantic setting in which couples are welcomed to commemorate their love. Spend your day surrounded by incredible mountain vistas, vines, and hills. There are incredible backdrops for wedding photos in every direction for an album like no other.

Services Offered

Make your wedding day one to remember by celebrating under the stars and twinkling market lights at Sbragia Family Vineyards. You can be treated to the vineyard’s own remarkable Zinfandel for a sophisticated celebratory toast. The winery’s culinary team is happy to look after catering on the day, for a professional menu that complements the wine. The vineyard is decorated simply, leaving you free to enhance the natural charm of the space however you see fit. The venue’s team, however, believes that the beauty of the view is all you need. The nearby town of Healdsburg has various hotels for guests to stay overnight. When choosing this space, you are treated to various additional amenities. This includes two private staging areas for the wedding party. Round tables and folding wooden chairs are supplied for up to 100 guests, perfect for seated reception meals.

Best wedding venue ever!

We had our wedding here and we had the absolute best time! The staff is so amazing and nice, the view is just unreal, and the wine is our favorite wine ever. We are also wine club members and look forward to out subscription shipments every few months! We love Sbragia.

My husband and I worked with Milestone Events for our wedding in October 2017 at Sbragia. From the very beginning, working with Milestone was nothing but smooth sailing and enjoyable. We were hugely impressed by their organization, professionalism, knowledge and that they were completely open and straight-forward about what would work with our budget without making us feel like we were "less than" or not a priority (our budget wasn't the biggest by wine country standards) - we never felt like we were being upsold or pushed into something that we couldn't actually afford, which had been hard to come by working with vendors in CA wine country / the Bay Area. A few months before our wedding, our original coordinator left, but Milestone went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable about the handoff to the new coordinator. I have to say both coordinators we worked with were incredible. Briana, who was our new coordinator, seamlessly picked up where the other coordinator had left off - a testament to Briana and our previous coordinator's professionalism and organization. Working with Briana was a joy - she's down to earth, calm, has an acute attention to detail, and a great sense of humor. She was responsive and patient, especially as we got closer to the wedding and my anxiety over details picked up! Our wedding day went off without a hitch - multiple people told us they had never been to a wedding that went so smoothly, hit the timeline perfectly and felt fun, relaxed and was beautiful at the same time. That's a testament to Briana, Milestone and the Sbragia staff. We consider ourselves so lucky that we got to get married at such a beautiful venue / setting and had the help and support of such an amazing team at Milestone. What you get for the value with Milestone is like none other. They made our dream wine country wedding a reality.

We've been to Sbragia Family Vineyard twice in the last 5 years, and we've always loved the breathtaking views! When we were scoping out various venues for our wedding, Sbragia came up in our search as it fell within our (very tight) budget. When we visited the site again, my husband and I knew this was the ONE--the place where we want to get married. We couldn't get over just how beautiful that view is! It's so spectacular and so romantic.

We worked with Megan Misaka of Milestone Events Group. She was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, and there were plenty of times when she put me at ease when I felt overwhelmed. As an example, I didn't know where to start with catering--there were so many options--and Megan was able to help me narrow it down to 2 vendors based on my budget. Megan made me feel like she always had time for me--I never felt rushed nor dismissed. Even during our ceremony, I noticed that she was passing out streamers to our guests. I'm sure there were many other things she did throughout the evening that I didn't get to see. Megan did an excellent job!

Without a doubt, Sbragia Family Vineyards stands out as a high-class establishment, especially within the wedding industry. The location of the venue overlooking the entire Dry Creek Valley is breath-takingly beautiful, and the venue itself is lovely in keeping with the natural surroundings. It's classy but not lavish; it was exactly what we were looking for when we dreamed of a "patio party" atmosphere for our wedding reception. Leslie Fravel with Milestone Events was invaluable in coordinating our wedding day. From the moment we met months before the wedding day, Leslie treated us like we were her only clients. She was welcoming, accommodating, and she responded to all requests as though it was her pleasure to serve us. She was easy to reach by phone and email, and she was always prompt in returning messages. When our wedding day arrived Leslie and her staff (Kelly) worked behind the scenes attending to details and glitches, so that my husband and I could enjoy the celebration without a care or concern. Her experience and expertise allowed her to anticipate our needs, and guests commented on how seamless the whole evening was. Thank you to Sbragia and Leslie for your outstanding work!

My wedding was absolutely beautiful at Sbragia. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful site. Working with Pilar and her team was also wonderful. Both Pilar and her assistant worked so hard to pull my wedding off. The entire team at Sbragia was more than accommodating. I can not recommend Sbragia as venue site enough. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement! I am also looking forward to going back and enjoying wine on the breath taking terrace! :)

Our destination wedding was on 8/16/14 and it was wonderful. We selected it after looking at many other venues. We knew this was going to be the place when we reached the parking lot. Then we saw the view from the balcony and visited the tasting room. It was perfect for our party of 54. Pilar was great to work with and Sbragia is very accommodating. They include furniture, a fire pit, and heat lamps that would be quite costly to rent at any other venue. The fire pit was a huge hit at our wedding!
Our only issue was that the amplified music had to stop at 10 pm due to an ordinance. Obviously Sbragia needs to comply. The dancing was still going strong when we had to flip to the overhead music which really changed the dynamic of the reception. With that said, I would still have picked Sbragia. It's just something you should be aware of.

We were drawn by the view from the terrace, but convinced to go with Sbragia by the compatibility and professionalism of the Event Coordinators. First Tracy Bidia for the contract, then Pilar Mustafa for all arrangements and follow-through.

Pilar Mustafa was fantastic to work with: intelligent, responsive, patient, reliable, perceptive in anticipating what we couldn't foresee. This was a Welcome Reception (in lieu of a Rehearsal Dinner) for 165 people. We wanted everyone to be invited to everything, so we had to find a cost-effective way to set a relaxed but elegant tone that wouldn't upstage the wedding itself the next night (elsewhere). Ms. Mustafa worked closely and effectively with us and our awesome chef throughout the planning process. The onsite kitchen and furnishings made it feasible to serve a California-style buffet, and they gave us access in the slower months ahead to test run the ovens.

Sbragia wine and light fare on the terrace overlooking the Dry Creek Valley was our establishing shot for the weekend! Guests ecstatic.

Tracy Bidia also was totally professional, hospitable, smart and considerate. We didn't think she could be replaced but it worked out very well. Glad we got to know and work with them both.

Reduced "value" rating to 4.5 only because we wish there'd been a way to purchase extra cases of wine ahead of time with the understanding that unopened cases could be left on site and credited back to us, but this is probably a regional way of doing business. On the other hand, the extra cases returned to us demonstrated winery's honesty. & they were wonderful about letting us bring in whatever else we needed without surcharge.

Thank you Pilar. Sbragia Family Vineyard made the great wine, but you made it work!

Now off to share some SFV wine with friends on our deck in Berkeley....

We had a fairly large wedding - initially was supposed to be ~100 guest, but ended up with 126 RSVP's. People from all over US and Europe came to attend - everyone was impressed. The scenery at this Winery is probably one of the best in Sonoma, if not the best. We were really lucky with the weather - and the winery at this time of the year is absolutely stunning. Very colorful with all its autumness.

Many guests that are wine connoisseurs were impressed with the wine we were serving with the food - and were also impressed with the venue. The winemaker at Sbragia is apparently really famous.

The winery event planner told us the limit is roughly 130 people, but I believe that you can totally fit another 20 without to much of a hassle. The only drawback I we could see was no hard liqueur license - but people got plenty buzzed from Wine/Beer/Champagne. :)

I truly recommend this venue due to the professionalism and flexibility. They're great and made our special day, a day to remember!

Sbragia was an amazing place to work with. Tracy made us feel welcomed and excited for our partnership for our special day. The day of, everything went amazingly. We were able to do pictures before the wedding, and then relax with our bridal parties with some wine before the ceremony began. Sbragia was great in allowing us to do our wedding in the small vineyard infront of the winery. They blocked off the parking lot early so chairs and decorations could be set up with plenty of time. The reception was beautiful. They were able to supply lights for the dance floor area, and bags set, and much much more. I dont think our day would have been as spectacular without the help of Tracy and Sbragia Family Vineyards.

Sbragia gives you a panoramic view of the valley. It is a short distance from Healdsburg. This is a very popular destination wedding venue. We perform several weddings here every year and the service is first class. The ceremony takes place on the huge outside patio. The back drop is spectacular. Cocktail hour can take place both inside the large tasting room with almost 360 degree views. Dinner and Dancing also take place outside. One of our favorite locations to perform at!

I officiated a wedding at Sbragia's over the summer!! What a beautiful view of wine country!! I love the way the deck is set up overlooking many vineyards! The staff is friendly and helpful! I feel like a part of the family there!! Tracy, the wedding coordinator is fabulous!!! She is calming by nature and is very organized. I am blessed to work with her!!! Can't wait to officiate another wedding there. I think I must come up soon for some wine tasting!!! You will love it there!!!
