I cannot stress enough how important it is to have AT LEAST a month-of coordinator for your big day! Jane was extremely helpful from the first day we hired her. She came with us to our venue walk-through and catering tasting, she helped me figure out seating, kept me from having too many meltdowns as the day approached, and kept things running smoothly on our wedding day. I don't know what I would have done without her. There is not enough space on this or any website for me to write how much I appreciate everything that Jane did for me and for us. Highly, highly recommend!

Jane and her assistant Allie were awesome to work with. I hired them for month of coordination but because of COVID rescheduling, they started to help me earlier than expected. They were great the entire weekend and really made our wedding weekend seamless!

Josie with Satchel Design was amazing!! She is extremely talented and creative and fun to work with! I was not the easiest bride to deal with as I'm indecisive on a good day, but she made the entire experience pain free (at least for me)! She took the time to get to know me and my fiancé and took our personalities and style into account when offering ideas. I wanted a package somewhere in the middle of those she offered and she was super flexible. She was available all the time whether by email or text and answered quickly and kept up with me especially as we got close to my wedding. Absolutely could not have done it without her!!

Faced with the task of hosting a co-ed wedding shower of at least 50 guests and with half of the hosts being out-of-towners located all over the country, I knew I would need to enlist help with organizing, planning, and executing this event. I immediately thought of Josie with Satchel Planning & Design. I had previously attended a wedding she designed and was blown away by her attention to detail and impeccable taste. Living in New Orleans, though beautiful, people tend to rotate through a short list of wedding and reception venues; so, even though I had been to that particular venue before, it felt new and fresh. I contacted Josie, and she jumped right into planning my party. She guided me along every step. She helped develop the theme of the event, which played homage to the couple’s engagement and honeymoon destination, gathered décor, developed the food and drink menu, and worked the set up and take down, all while adhering to the (relatively) modest budget she was provided. The shower, held at a friend’s home, was executed flawlessly by Satchel. It was festive and gorgeous, but most importantly, it ran smoothly and was largely in someone else’s hands. Thanks, Josie!

I hired Josie as a "day of" coordinator for my Sept. 19 wedding. She kept me sane throughout the weekend! Everything was planned and organized down to the last detail, and everything that I was worried about was taken care of with perfection. She was on site the day before to assist with my set-up and was great at offering suggestions and monitoring the minor disputes that arose between everyone with a different opinion about how and where to put things. We had a little problem come up with the tables for the reception-about ten of the rounds we planned on using were defective, so she immediately took care of the problem, calling a rental company and making sure new tables were delivered promptly. She planned out the wedding ceremony so there was no question about where anyone was supposed to go or be, and everything went perfectly. I was so happy to have her around for the weekend and keep things running smoothly, and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Booked her for my wedding in May and so far she has been AMAZING! Her attention to detail, my needs and artistic approach have been exactly what I was looking for! I can't wait for the actual day to be here!

Jane was invaluable! My husband was very impressed with her organizational skills. She is so proactive and well respected with the vendors we worked with. Even with the unexpected pop ups that occur ( three year old melt downs, ) she can handle anything with firmness and dignity. We have her coming back to handle our Covid delayed reception next year because it would not be a perfect party without her. Satchel was fabulous!
