The Sarasota Opera House gave us the absolute best customer service I could have ever hoped for! When we first got engaged, I started the process of trying to find a venue that suited our personalities, was beautiful, not horribly expensive, and hadn't been used for countless other weddings. Kind of a tough list! I must have looked at 20-30 other venues before stumbling across the Opera House. It is absolutely gorgeous! We ended up having the wedding ceremony in the outside courtyard, then having cocktails in the lobby before finally moving to the 2nd floor for the reception dinner. Jim Reid was our liaison with the Opera House, I cannot rave enough about his patience and good nature. The price was extremely good also, and the Opera House included all the tables and chairs for no additional cost. This venue can only accommodate maybe 95-96 people, but that was perfect for us and I never considered it to be a disadvantage. If anything it kept our guest list from getting out of control. My venue might have been what I loved most about my wedding, and I really recommend anyone who is tired of the same old wedding venues that are used for Manatee & Sarasota county weddings to give the Opera House a tour!

Jim Reid at the Sarasota Opera house was impeccable. He was prompt and extremely fun to work with. His professional made our day a dream come true. He always answered countless emails and phone calls. The Opera house downtown Sarasota, is a dream itself. Our reception was in the Peterson Great Room. We highly recommend this venue and its staff.
