I have been seeing Sarah's photo galleries for YEARS, since I manage a wedding venue and always ask our couples to send us their photos. I decided like 6 years ago that if I ever got married, I would use Sarah. I have always loved the way she edits greens! Her photos are neither overly saturated or muted, which I see all the time. Her green tones outdoors are rich, and all the tones are somehow both true to life AND romantic. That's the best way I can describe it! I had never worked with her one on one until my wedding day, and she did not disappoint. I was so impressed. My husband and my whole family went ON about how fantastic she was. She got our very small flower girls to smile and giggle for pictures! She was kind to everyone, but SO efficient. Hiring Sarah as our photographer was THE BEST decision we made about our entire wedding. Our pictures are insanely amazing! Sarah's personality was so bubbly, she brought out our most photographic selves and she made the day run smoother. Everything wedding related is so stressful but not when it came to the photography. We are awkward quirky people but we look like professional models in every single photo. Even our guests were raving our nice and amazing she was. Highly recommend!! I can’t come up with enough nice things to say about Sarah. She was hands-down our favorite vendor to work with and every call with her felt like chatting with a friend while also nailing down the millions of details about a wedding day. When we first contacted Sarah she recommended that we try one of her Holiday mini-sessions since we had already had engagement photos done. We are so glad that we snatched up a time slot because we were able to get used to her directions and see her amazing photos prior to our wedding day! On the actual day Sarah was so great at directing everyone while keeping the mood light and fun. My bridesmaids absolutely LOVED her and her second photographer for the day and said that they cannot wait to see how amazing the pictures turned out. I will also always remember how calm she stayed and how calm she made me feel despite the weather taking a turn for the worse. Our original plan was to have our ceremony outside, but luck was not on our side that day. It started storming during our first looks with my husband and my dad but Sarah and Shannon were the best hype women and didn’t even let me think about it! They also ensured that our group photos outside (under an awning) were quick and efficient once the storm showed no signs of letting up. Given that the weather changed our entire timeline and plan for the rest of the day, Sarah was super flexible and was able to come up with an alternate plan to get us all of our photographs. Some of those “must-have” pictures included group photos of immediate and extended family on both the bride and groom’s side. While directing groups of large people may seem like a hard task to most, Sarah handled it with efficiency and ease! We receive our full wedding album this week and I am so excited to re-live our wedding day! Sarah sent us so many preview shots a few days after the wedding and if those are any indictor of what’s to come, I just know that the full album will be nothing short of stunning.
