The moorings was an absolutely stunning place to get married. My entire family has been coming here so it was extra special and now holds and even bigger place in our hearts.

I can’t say enough great things about Kari officiating our wedding. I asked her to do this last minute because we decided to elope and that did not alter her quality of service. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony (over and beyond what we expected), had special memorable aspects added in, and helped with any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process. She made the entire thing seamless and we both really enjoyed working with her. She also took care of all the marriage license stuff very promptly. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Sanibel area getting married.

We chose to have a small intimate ceremony with just the two of us in the gardens at Sanibel Moorings. The ceremony took place at a lovely spot with tropical flowers, palm trees, and a flower petal sprinkled pathway leading to a beautifully decorated driftwood arch. My bouquet and his boutonniere were made from hand picked flowers out of the properties gardens. Kari was wonderful to work with and we couldn't be more pleased. She listened to what we wanted for our wedding and made suggestions/recommendations along the way to help make it perfect. Sanibel Moorings is beautiful and Kari and her staff exceptional!

Hands down the best venue we could of went with for our wedding. Beautiful does not even describe it enough. The whole staff and Sanible Moorings we’re so helpful, kind and professional. They all made our experience such a positive one. Andy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was a pleasure to work with. Kari was so organized and helpful as well. The staff worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect! 10/10 would recommend!!

I has always dreamed of getting married at the beach..and it came true! From the moment we drove onto the Island of Sanibel we knew we were in for a treat. Once we arrived at Sanibel Moorings, it all came together perfectly. The serene tropical setting of the resort is nestled among the lusciousness of the island. Sanibel Moorings' grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and such care is taken to highlight the native plants and flowers. While there, you are surrounded by all things that are wonderful and luxurious. The staff at Sanibel Moorings is also top notch, taking care of all of the things that we needed, plus all of the things that we didn't know that we needed. I am so thankful to have been able to have my special day at such a special place...beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Sanibel Moorings is quite the getaway on Sanibel Island. The island provides a sense of true island style living while Sanibel Moorings provided a fantastic place to stay, quick access to the beach, and the ability to just relax. The staff was genuinely friendly all around. From check-in to check-out we were treated with the utmost care and attention.

The resort has quite the garden throughout the property and their pilot program of setting up umbrellas and chairs out on the beach each morning and bringing them back in the evening for us was amazing. We loved it and will be back next year!
