I had a beautiful wedding of ~200 guests at Sanctuary Estate in September, following the renovations to the Estate House and Lodge. Almost all of my guests were from out of town (Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Boston, everywhere!) and kept telling us how beautiful the ceremony and reception both were. Prior to the wedding, everyone enjoyed the exploring the local wineries, and (to my surprise - who works out on vacation?) hiking! I am so glad that we chose Sanctuary Estate and were able to relish our special day in the romantic North Georgia Mountains. I am also very thankful for the staff at Sanctuary Estate...the owners, Kathy and Alex, were hands-on and ensured that every detail was executed perfectly. They're professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise contributed to my perfect wedding day. I can't say enough good things about this venue and team!

I recently worked with Alexandra and Avery of The Sanctuary Estate for their client's wedding, providing interpretation and translation services for the families and guests in German and English. From the moment they first contacted me, I was impressed by their thoroughness and professionalism. Most importantly, they were so welcoming and kind to every single guest and vendor! It was a beautiful venue, if I hadn’t fallen in love with the venue I picked, this definitely would have been the one. The owner was so welcoming and the house farm and reception barn are absolutely stunning.

Robin, Cindy, Tim and the whole team at Sanctuary Estate work hard to make sure your big day is YOUR big day -- exactly like you want it! We felt so taken care of and the venue was just gorgeous. Every little detail was perfect and helped make our special day absolutely wonderful!

The wedding and rehearsal dinner were both held at this venue. I worked with Robin to plan the rehearsal dinner. Since it was a destination wedding, it was so nice to have everything from setup to take down be part of the package. The chef was amazing and easy to work with and the venue was beautiful. Even though it was a package, Robin went above and beyond to personalize it for us and the couple.

Our wedding and the whole experience leading up to our big day was amazing. My husband and I do not live in Georgia, so planning the wedding through emails, and a few short visits was surprisingly easy. Robin and her team, Cindy and Tim, were great to work with. Robin was really nice and accommodating to anything we needed. Cindy was the best coordinator. She was very prompt with email responses and super helpful with questions and ideas. Tim did an amazing job with the food and flowers. The bouquets and boutonniere were beautiful. We wish the night had lasted longer and so do our guests! They enjoyed everything as much as we did. The Sanctuary Estate did not disappoint, it went above and beyond expectations.

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner in the barn facility. The food from the caterer was amazing and the tables that Robin decorated were so elegant! Robin is so easy to work with and she has an attention to detail. We had a party of about 60 people and it accommodated us with lots of room to spare. I had so many of our guests say it was the best rehearsal dinner they had ever attended.

Incredible. Amazing. Unforgettable. Nothing I can say would truly describe how appreciative and thrilled I am to have had the opportunity to work with Robin, Cindy, and Tim at Sanctuary Estate for our wedding!

The thing I probably appreciate most was the ease of planning. My mom helped with much of the planning and being that we live 1200 miles apart, we weren’t sure how we’d make it work, at least smoothly. Robin and Cindy both communicated with my mom and I in a timely fashion and it really made planning a breeze.

I am also beyond thankful for the kindness and compassion of these ladies! They were so kind and gracious with not only my fiancé and I but with our entire families.

The wedding day was smooth and a great time. The decor was even more beautiful than I had envisioned. Guests complimented the food and cake repeatedly. It was truly magical.

Robin and Cindy guided us every step of the way and I am so thankful for them. I never imagined I’d be able to get married in such an incredible place, so happy we found Sanctuary!

Sanctuary Estate was an incredible venue! Everyone we worked with did everything in their power to make the entire experience perfect, and it was. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and everything about my wedding was more than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Sanctuary Estate to anyone for their wedding!

I had my dream wedding here and it was worth every penny. I came across the Sanctuary Estate when I scheduled a site visit at a nearby winery. I had a relatively last minute request to visit the venue and Robin, the owner, happily accommodated me. Needless to say, the grounds are absolutely STUNNING and at first sight I knew I had to have my wedding here. This venue has everything you will need for your day- a bridal suite for you and your bridesmaids to get ready, covered pavillion for the ceremony in case of rain, several different areas for photographs, a full service reception area (barn) with decorations, tables and chairs.
Planning process: I loved that the wedding packages are up front and all inclusive and that there are no hidden costs/surprises. You have the option to 'add' to the wedding packages if you elect to do more florals/have an additional appetizer, etc, but you do this later on in the process. For me I was unsure of whether I would have 100 or 125 guests, but I never stressed about it because I knew exactly how much it would cost either way! I worked closely with Cindy, the wedding coordinator, who was super sweet and very helpful throughout the whole planning process. I met with Cindy for 3 planning sessions and attended 2 tastings to meet Tim, the caterer for the venue. At the tastings we met other couples getting married at this venue. I really liked the group setting because I was able to ask people what they did for rehearsal dinner/transportation/accomodation and of course you got to taste the food and tons of different cake flavors. I had one floral consult on the same day as my last planning session. On the final planning day you also finalize your food selections, cake flavors, decorations, 'add on' items with Tim.
Actual day of: Everything went flawlessly and the weather was perfect. I did not worry about ANYTHING. Cindy took care of communicating with my vendors to make sure they were there on time and knew where to go. She made sure we stayed on schedule and came and found us when it was time to do the cake cutting and toast. The food was AMAZING and all my guests were raving about the cake. We had 3 flavors (our favorite was the Reese's Peanut Butter cake). Everything from my bouquet, food, table settings, decorations, to florals was perfect. I wish I could get married all over again!! Everyone had a fantastic time and I'm so glad I selected the Sanctuary Estate. I recently got my wedding photos back and this place is picture perfect.
Recommendations: This venue comes with a package but but you do need to put in some leg work and make sure you arrange for things that are not included - e.g. BYOB, bartender, sound system. Make sure you ask the right questions and think through the details that are not included. Robin, Cindy, and Tim will have the answers to your questions because they've done this a zillion times! They also have recommendations for vendors if you need. We are so grateful that we came across the Sanctuary Estate. It is a truly breathtaking property with wonderful owners who will make it possible for you to have your dream wedding! 10/10 would recommend!
