My husband and I learned of Samantha from a good college couple friend of ours who just so happened to be planning their wedding around the same time as us. After various google/wedding website searches, I just couldn't find an affordable and/or quality photographer near us (in the DFW area).

Samantha has amazing photography skills as well as people skills (which is a huge deal in my opinion if you want authentic expressions to come through in photographs). My husband and I first met Samantha right before our Engagement photo session back in December 2012. We were nervous because neither of us had ever had the experience of taking professional pictures (besides the dreaded school yearbook photos :-p). We'd shopped around and seen so many awesome engagement photographs of couples and wondered what it took to take candid, flattering photos---it's definitely the work of the person behind the camera. Samantha was friendly, personable and easy-going making the session a breeze! We were relaxed and having fun seconds into the session. She definitely delivered and gave us some of the most beautiful engagement photos. Friends and family raved about them for months!

Samantha also did our wedding photos, which did involve travel on her and her assistant's part (her sweet husband). She was reasonably priced for travel and was on time and ready to start snapping photos the the minute we arrived at the venue. She was organized and a big help in getting people situated and ready for "picture time". Unfortunately, we were a little cramped on time because my hair/make up appointments were running late (even being scheduled at 1pm). I wasn't worried though and knew I could count on Samantha to work her magic. She was assertive, accommodating, and did an beautiful job capturing the ceremony and reception. I loved that she didn't put a time limit on us and was there to capture every special moment with no rush.

I most definitely would recommend her to everyone I know!
