I researched and visited several salons in the area for my wedding hair, nails, & makeup and when I walked in to Salon Nordine I knew I found exactly what I was looking for! Pleasant staff, comfortable atmosphere from the start. There were 5 of us that had our hair and makeup done the day of and it was all perfect!! We stayed on track and out the door right on time. I would absolutely recommend Salon Nordine, Sierra for hair and makeup, and Pham for nails.

We actually went to the Salon Nordine in Reston for the wedding day...fantastic and I cannot rave enough about them. They opened their salon at 7am to accommodate me, my wedding party, my mom & mother in law...and they gave us all outstanding service, beautiful hair & makeup and gave that finished look that's seen in all our photos.

I originally booked Bridget for my wedding hairdo who I had seen for coloring before. Then the manager called me 2 weeks before the wedding saying Bridget wasn't working my wedding day anymore so I got a little nervous because I didn't know who else was good. Anyway I got a referral for Amanda and did a trial run with her. And she did an AMAZING job at the trial and put my mind at ease. And then the wedding day was even better! I was so glad I had her in the end. I brought in a few pictures of hairdos I liked and asked her to combine the looks and I was absolutely thrilled with her job and she was so nice. My updo was soft, romantic and sort of old-fashioned looking with curls twisted low to one side of my head. They let us bring in champagne and served it to us while we were getting our hair done. Some of the bridesmaids styles looked great and some were just OK, but it depended on the stylist. But I can definitely vouch for Amanda and the salon is beautiful.

I go to Salon Nordine in Gainesville for my normal hair cuts and coloring. I only began to go there because my wonderful hairdresser, Laurie Miller, moved there from Tranquility. My bridesmaids (2) and I went there on the day of the wedding for hair appointments. I was happy with the looks that were created for all of us--although one of the bridesmaid's "do" was fairly wilted even before the ceremony began...but, she didn't want a lot of hair spray.

Salon Nordine was great. We did the day before nails and toes, we were treated like queens. Then my day of activities, my hair dresser (Brooke) came down with something and was not able to do as planned. Tracy stepped in and created an amazing up-do for my big day. Thank you so much for everything. :):)

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. All services were performed with great care and enthusiasm! I brought all my bridesmaids to Salon Nordine and they were all impressed with the quality of services and the atmosphere! They really made me feel like a princess on my special day! :)

I had my makeup applied at Salon Nordine the day of the wedding. I opted out for the consultation b/c it is not included in the price. Makeup application was 50 dollars. I had Kristen, she was very professional and her work looked great. I had two appointments with her and she was about 5-10 minutes late to both of them. Both appointments were her first appointments for the day. So one suggestion if you use her service is to ensure you are not in a time crunch. The makeup looked great, everyone loved the look. No touch up makeup is provided, but it is offered for purchase. The staff at the salon are super friendly and professional. I would highly suggest Nordine.

They were very responsive but I don't think their food was as great as it could have been. It may have been that there was some miscommunication but personally I didn't like their food. They prepared everything nicely it just wasn't my taste. The pricing was pretty good I guess it depends on everyone's individual tastes.

The hair and makeup looked nice, but the time frame was way more than they said, and they didnt take us at the right times. We missed out on some really nice pictures.
