Sarina at Salon EFX is my normal hairdresse,r so I knew I would want my whole bridal party to get their updos at the salon as well. Everyone was thrilled with the results! Salon EFX is affordable, but all of the hairdressers are very experienced and able to work with all types of hair and all kinds of requests. I highly recommend Salon EFX for both haircut/color services as well as special event updos and blowouts! (P.S. They are in Silver Spring/Hillandale, not Hyattsville).

I've come here for years to get my hair done, so it only seemed natural to use the salon for myself and my wedding party. Tina worked with me to do a trial and then on the day of the wedding. I booked for a total of 8 of us - my mom, myself, four bridesmaids, and two junior bridesmaids. Four of them did everyone's hair beautifully as well as age-appropriately for my JBs.

They are now located in the Hillandale Shopping Center, not Hyattsville. I would definitely recommend their services for getting hair done at a reasonable cost.

Tina is great!! The salon actually moved to a new location in Hillandale shopping center but it is the same people running the place, thomas and tina. They are very talented! I have been going there for over 3 years for my haircuts and other hair services. I love this place!!

Oanh ( the business owner ) is our family friend, very energetic and reliable to work with. She gave me lots of tips about how to taking care of my beauty before my wedding. Very good hairstylist and always introduce us new young lookin hair styles.
