We hired Sarah to plan our wedding and could not be happier we chose her to help us. She has a very calm and relaxed personality, and is so much fun to be around! She is also extremely detail-oriented and the most organized person I have ever met. I never worried about forgetting anything or not thinking of something we should have because I knew with Sarah's help there would be nothing she didn't think of. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. It was the most relaxing day and Sarah made it so easy for us to enjoy the day. She handled everything and did a wonderful job of keeping us on schedule. She reached out to every person involved in the day prior to the event (hair, makeup, floral) and made sure everyone knew exactly where to be and when. She does a great job of making everything perfect, and her personality makes it so that it is impossible not to have fun with the planning instead of having it be stressful. We can't thank her enough for her help and will always look back on our wedding day with such fond memories.

We couldn’t have done it without Sarah! We reached out to Sarah to plan our daughter’s wedding, which for us was out of state. From the very beginning she was an absolute professional, knew how to guide us without overwhelming and was simply a joy to work with. Any situation that came up she handled promptly and with our best interests in mind. Because of Sarah we were able to enjoy the planning process and most of all enjoy the day of the wedding with our family and friends. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of as Sarah took care of everything…much of it behind the scenes which I didn’t even know was happening the time. She’s just that good! Working with Sarah was like a dream come true! She was wonderful to work from start to finish and we would highly recommend her to anyone interested in getting a wonderful wedding planner who is extremely organized, patient, attentive, communicative, kind, creative, and calm. Sarah did an AMAZING job helping us before and during our wedding! She was super easy to work with and extremely detailed. She had great suggestions that we did not even think of! Her follow-up and follow-through were top notch. Our wedding was in Lincoln and she made sure that she was familiar with our event space and vendors. I think the phrase, “What would we do without Sarah?” was said hundreds of times the week of the wedding and the weeks leading up to the wedding. Sarah is Superwoman! After our intro meeting with Sarah (before we’d even hired her), we knew she was perfect for us. She was coming up with solutions to our concerns with venues before we even hired her. Her calming presence and incredible personality make her so fun to work with, and I don’t think there is anything she can’t handle. Our venue had a lot of staff turnover in the year we were planning our wedding, and I truly don’t know how we would’ve handled all the changes at the venue without Sarah. She made sure each new person was brought up to speed, and I never had to worry because I knew Sarah was going to advocate for us and make sure nothing was lost during transitions. I have no idea how Sarah balances so much and does it so well. There were multiple times during the wedding day that I just couldn’t believe how calm she was and how she had backup plans for anything that could go wrong. My makeup artist was very late (not in Sarah’s control – Sarah had given her a timeline). The minute Sarah found out, she was attempting to contact the artist and find other artists to do my makeup in case the original makeup artist didn’t come. As you can imagine, I was a wreck that we were running behind schedule because of the makeup artist, and Sarah was incredible. Despite everything else Sarah was handling that morning, she even made me a sandwich before I put my dress on since we were in a hurry. Sarah was always very organized for meetings and made sure all the vendors understood the vision for the wedding. She had a website for me to use that made the planning process much easier and helped me know which decisions needed to be made next. She was always available to answer questions/ease nerves, and Sarah always had alternatives prepared. One of the most impressive things to me was the timeline Sarah created for the vendors and wedding party. No detail was missed! Every vendor Sarah recommended was great, and she was very helpful in helping me navigate where it might be important to spend more money and where we could spend less money. I never felt uncomfortable discussing budget with Sarah. Sarah allowed me to have as much control as I wanted leading up to the wedding, and it was so wonderful to feel confident that I didn’t need to worry about anything the weekend of the wedding because Sarah was with me every step of the way and understood my vision perfectly (and even made it much better)! I knew the reception would look beautiful, but it completely surpassed my expectations, which you can tell in the photo I uploaded of my husband and I seeing the reception space for the first time. I remember my husband and I sitting at our sweetheart table looking out at the reception and saying how we couldn’t believe this was OUR wedding. It was just so beyond what I even dreamt it could look like, which would’ve never been possible without Sarah! Not only that, I have no idea how we would’ve managed the weekend in general without Sarah. Sarah became a friend and was amazing at helping me balance family dynamics. One of the hardest parts about our wedding being over was that we wouldn’t get to work with Sarah anymore. Sarah is one-of-a-kind, and the best decision we made for our wedding! After getting engaged and planning my wedding in 9 months during medical school, all my family agrees that having Sarah as my wedding planner is the best decision we ever made. It's hard to appreciate all that Sarah does during the planning process because you usually can't see what she is constantly working on in the background, but the amount of time and energy that she pours into each wedding is insurmountable. It becomes very evident on the actual wedding day when you are able to just enjoy the day and be present in the moment and Sarah has everything handled. You won't even know if something happened or not because Sarah has it handled before you ever find out about it.

Being in medical school, especially during my busiest year and longest hours, Sarah was constantly available to me. And she is like that for all of her couples! She was extremely responsive to email and set up regular meetings. She was the one that kept me in check and grounded. She made sure everything got done. She helped research a list of venues for me that would be available around the time we were looking to get married, she called around to places on our behalf, she helped set up rentals, and she did this all with trying to WORK IN A BUDGET, which is HUGE.

To top all of this off, Sarah is just a lovely stand up human to work with. I cannot recommend her enough. My wedding day was the best ever and I never worried about a single thing because I had Sarah.

Sarah with S.Lukas & Company made all of our wedding dreams come true and the planning process so simple. Our wedding day went more smoothly and was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Planning a Nebraska wedding from Wisconsin wasn't easy, especially as a Physical Therapist, with no time for daytime phone calls, meetings, emails, etc., but Sarah stepped in and made the process seamless. When the reception venue manger left for another opportunity 6 weeks before my daughter’s wedding Sarah took charge to ensure the new venue manger was up to speed on every detail of the reception. No small task. Everything went flawlessly. On the day of the wedding Sarah and her assistant simultaneously managed all vendors overseeing the set up at the reception venue and church. By nights end Sarah had all non-vendor reception items belonging to the family packed up and secured in a locked room ready for pick up the following morning. Sarah’s most notable contribution was providing my daughter with the peace of mind that everything was being overseen and dealing with any last-minute surprises allowing my daughter to thoroughly enjoy her wedding day.
