The best decision you can make for your wedding is hiring Sarah!
I think the phrase, “What would we do without Sarah?” was said hundreds of times the week of the wedding and the weeks leading up to the wedding. Sarah is Superwoman! After our intro meeting with Sarah (before we’d even hired her), we knew she was perfect for us. She was coming up with solutions to our concerns with venues before we even hired her. Her calming presence and incredible personality make her so fun to work with, and I don’t think there is anything she can’t handle. Our venue had a lot of staff turnover in the year we were planning our wedding, and I truly don’t know how we would’ve handled all the changes at the venue without Sarah. She made sure each new person was brought up to speed, and I never had to worry because I knew Sarah was going to advocate for us and make sure nothing was lost during transitions. I have no idea how Sarah balances so much and does it so well. There were multiple times during the wedding day that I just couldn’t believe how calm she was and how she had backup plans for anything that could go wrong. My makeup artist was very late (not in Sarah’s control – Sarah had given her a timeline). The minute Sarah found out, she was attempting to contact the artist and find other artists to do my makeup in case the original makeup artist didn’t come. As you can imagine, I was a wreck that we were running behind schedule because of the makeup artist, and Sarah was incredible. Despite everything else Sarah was handling that morning, she even made me a sandwich before I put my dress on since we were in a hurry. Sarah was always very organized for meetings and made sure all the vendors understood the vision for the wedding. She had a website for me to use that made the planning process much easier and helped me know which decisions needed to be made next. She was always available to answer questions/ease nerves, and Sarah always had alternatives prepared. One of the most impressive things to me was the timeline Sarah created for the vendors and wedding party. No detail was missed! Every vendor Sarah recommended was great, and she was very helpful in helping me navigate where it might be important to spend more money and where we could spend less money. I never felt uncomfortable discussing budget with Sarah. Sarah allowed me to have as much control as I wanted leading up to the wedding, and it was so wonderful to feel confident that I didn’t need to worry about anything the weekend of the wedding because Sarah was with me every step of the way and understood my vision perfectly (and even made it much better)! I knew the reception would look beautiful, but it completely surpassed my expectations, which you can tell in the photo I uploaded of my husband and I seeing the reception space for the first time. I remember my husband and I sitting at our sweetheart table looking out at the reception and saying how we couldn’t believe this was OUR wedding. It was just so beyond what I even dreamt it could look like, which would’ve never been possible without Sarah! Not only that, I have no idea how we would’ve managed the weekend in general without Sarah. Sarah became a friend and was amazing at helping me balance family dynamics. One of the hardest parts about our wedding being over was that we wouldn’t get to work with Sarah anymore. Sarah is one-of-a-kind, and the best decision we made for our wedding!
