When I started photography, I wanted to only work with young, alternative men and women. I thought my focus would be the hair-dyed or tattooed and pierced bride and her groom. I just loved celebrating their love and the open-mindedness which would embrace my own red hair and facial piercings.

When I became a mother, I realized just how much women are constantly aware of the judging eyes around them, often times even shaming and hiding the parts of themselves which are most important to them. It was also when I became a mother that I decided to create photography which celebrates each one as a woman, a mother, a lover, as a whole person whom the world can’t hold down. Why? Because women deserve to celebrate what matters to them, to celebrate where their hearts are, to celebrate what it is exactly that defines them. Be it a nurturing breastfeeding relationship, a love for a significant other, or a burgeoning beauty and sensuality, if it is part of your definition I want to help you celebrate it with photography.
