Established in 2016, Rovo Photography and Video is the production name for myself, Joshua Esan.

I'm a freelance photographer and cinematographer local to Hartford, and although I may be relatively new to the scene compared to my colleagues, my background goes back over 15 years.

In school I had studied journalism, and it was there that I refined my passion of capturing these moments in time and I've learned the best way to capture a moment is to capture a feeling.

It's my job to take a photo that you can look at ten years later and not only see, but feel as well.

When you see it, maybe you can remember the warmth of the sun on your face or the way the air smelled on that day, one of the most important days of your lives. I’m there to help you relive that excitement and emotion.

Those feelings don’t change wherever it is you decide to get married be it a favorite park, or your church, a beautiful banquet hall, or your own back yard, and that’s the importance of telling a story with just an image.
