Ross Mann is an award winning classical guitarist and chamber musician who has been performing for special events for over 20 years and is available year-round throughout the greater Philadelphia area, Delaware Valley and South Jersey. Raised in Atlanta, Ross Mann began studying the guitar at eleven and quickly embraced the entire range of the repertoire, from Baroque lute transcriptions and the Spanish romantics to South American musics and contemporary compositions. Now based in Philadelphia and an award winnning soloist and chamber musician, his repertoire spans several centuries and many cultures, including both Baroque and Romantic masterworks alongside works from contemporary, pop, jazz and musical theater genres and a variety of folk traditions.
Selections include traditional wedding music for all faiths, a wide range of baroque, classical and romantic era compositions, exciting Spanish music, Brazilian and Latin American folk genres (bossa nova, y samba por violao, tangos, valses, e mas!), and custom arrangements of jazz, theater and popular songs! I can always offer guidance in choosing the perfect musical selections for you and your guests to enjoy at your upcoming wedding ceremony, cocktail party, business dinner, reception, restaurant, open house, convention or corporate event.
