Jaime Emery with Rose Street Studio photographed us for a set of engagement photos, as well as our intimate wedding ceremony in Zephyr Cove. Both sets of photos were amazing and we could not be more pleased with the results. For our engagement photos, Jaime really made us feel at ease in front of the camera, and captured us in front of several stunning Lake Tahoe backdrops. Fast forward to our small wedding, which involved only us and our five children...Jaime again made ALL of us feel at ease and beautifully captured our ceremony and fun family moments. We received wonderful candid moments as well as more traditional group photos. We were definitely seeking some nice family portraits and Jaime was a huge help in making sure we captured all the moments we wanted. Jaime spent a good bit of time 'walking the property', evaluating our wedding ceremony location, helping us select multiple locations for photographs and to take advantage of the Tahoe scenery as our backdrop from multiple locations.
I would highly recommend Jaime and Rose Street Studio for beautiful, polished, and natural looking photos. She is helpful, straightforward, approachable and brings a welcome sense of humor to wedding moments that can be stressful.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Jaime, who owns Rose Street Studio. She was fun, professional, a good communicator, and overall just easy to work with. We also just really loved her style of photography, and thought it matched well with what we were looking for.

Jaime and her second shooter arrived at our air bnb near the venue for getting ready photos, which was a really fun experience. They also worked really well with our videographer.

During the ceremony, I completely forgot that there were photographers present, which I know they do intentionally so the wedding couple is not distracted by someone taking their photos.

We loved the portraits and getting ready photos soooo much. But we absolutely LOVED the ceremony photos and action/dancing shots they took throughout the night. They really captured the big moments and emotions of the ceremony so well. And with the candid/dancing photos, you can really feel the energy of the evening. I know I will cherish them forever!

Jamie Emery was amazing. Communicated constantly as we approached our special day. She had amazing ideas for our pictures and we highly recommend using her for your special day.

Jaime was truly amazing during our wedding. I've seen beautiful wedding photos before, and I understand I'm slightly biased, but Jaime's were truly some of the most gorgeous wedding photos I've ever seen. She was able to capture the joy of our day without turning it into a photoshoot. We were able to take all the family portraits, bridal portraits, and sunset photos AND still enjoy our reception!

She also had to deal with some major hiccups on our wedding day. We had rain, hail and a brief fire (caused by a bolt of lightning striking a tree). Our ceremony all had to move locations and change at the last minute. She handled this without breaking a sweat. She definitely guided us throughout the day and made myself and my husband feel very comfortable.

I can't recommend Rose Street Studio enough. If you want gorgeous photos and also want to enjoy your full wedding day - hire Jaime and her team.

Jaime was absolutely amazing to work with. We were originally planning a larger wedding but had to cancel in light of covid. We decided to instead do a small celebration and adventure shoot, and Jaime was so accommodating and flexible. She went out of her way to capture our day and we had so much fun doing the adventure photos. She took us to some really beautiful and quiet spots around Tahoe, and did a great job helping us feel relaxed and natural when taking photos. There were moments where it didn’t even feel like we were on camera - we were just enjoying each other’s company and the beautiful scenery, but I know she captured some amazing shots. We would absolutely work with Jaime again and recommend her to anyone getting married in the Tahoe area! This will be the best decision you make for your wedding!!

My husband and I were on a fairly tight budget, and the one thing we both agreed was a top priority for us was our wedding photographer. Jaime (and Annie, her 2nd) were the best possible people to have photograph our wedding at Camp Richardson. Even with hectic traffic, a busy beach, and plenty of nerves from my husband and I and our families, they were so professional and kind; my husband and I tend to both be uncomfortable having our picture taken but they made us feel like we could be ourselves. I loved Jaime's photojournalistic style, and it worked perfect for us-- they could help create beautiful portraits of my husband and I and also fade into fly-on-the-wall status during the ceremony and reception. We loved working with them so much. (Plus, Jaime had awesome recommendations for other vendors, which was incredibly helpful.) THEN, we got our photos-- OMG. Couldn't be more happy. I thought I was so present for my wedding day, but there were so many moments Jaime and Annie captured that made us really feel like we could re-experience our day in a whole new way. I got so many responses from guests and friends that they were the best wedding photographs they had ever seen, and had multiple people tell me that watching the slideshow brought them to tears.

My wife and I were getting married at Zephyr Cove and we went with one of there preferred venders since we don't live in the area, and we couldn't be more happier with the choice we made going with Rose Street Studio. Jamie was our photographer and she showed up early to check out the scene for our wedding and went right to work. She took some absolutely wonderful photos of us on the beach and around the areas, Jaime is perfect to work with and I would recommend her to anyone in the area.

I originally was recommended to Rose Street via a friend. I went to their website to check them out and was immediately drawn to their photography style. They have a genuine talent to capture raw emotion, while also capturing the beauty of the scenery around. We booked them and just as I had hoped, our wedding photos were everything and more. Looking threw them brought back all the beautiful emotions and brought myself and others to tears. They are extremely talented, artistic, reliable and made us comfortable being photographed on a day where all emotions are flowing. I highly recommend booking them for your big day!!
